I once had a similar experience; during my first time visiting Newark; I walked down Tolney Lane, wondering what was down there, and those rude and angry travellers who were at that caravan site beside it threatened me, thinking that they own the road, despite me telling them that it's a public road. Next thing I knew, when I went back to safety and was walking through the park, minding my own business, I got stopped by the police, and they said to me that they apparently had a call that I was chatting up children and being inappropriate with them, but I told them that it was not true and I told them about my Tolney Lane encounter, and after they took my details, they let me go and advised me to be more careful where I go in the future.

I use to go to the primary school in Holme many moons ago and it was full of busy bodies back then. In fairness they do have a lot of burglaries in that area due to the "remoteness" but still after you'd explained who you were there was no need!

Not had police to us about my daughters meltdowns but had our neighbours havin a word with me about her screaming meltdown and her trashing her room pulling her drawers over about waking her 3 yr old up yes this was pretty late now i have apologised they know my girl is under investigation..but the ironic thing here is they argue shout at their kids and we can hear this its most days i couldnt believe my ears

It's the big tripod which makes the police worry, I was here filming a video for my university in London on a train station (with noone on it) and they must have picked me and my friends up on the cctv, and they sent a policemen down who kicked us out, but we just went to the next station and filmed without the tripod and apparently that was completely fine :D
