Had nothing to do with MVPs hands being down. It’s the fact that in 20 something fights he hasn’t done much ground work. It showed. It was obvious. Mvp didn’t know what to do. He gave up his back. He couldn’t shake Garry off his back the last half of the third. I was praying for mvp to win btw. Praying.

MVP got out-wrestled by Ian, no rigging. I wouldn’t draw attention to this if I was him. Even the commentators outlined he looked scared and didn’t know what he was doing down there.

@@TakeASeat_1 He can but that was definitely not a loss on his end and once he sharpens his ground game it's a wrap for everyone.. I hate seeing people getting cheated out of clear wins convincingly because they want the white guy to stay undefeated as a poster boy MVP exposed that Ian is not good at striking and can only do minimum activities when he's on the ground He didn't hurt MVP or have him in any real danger so we can't chalk that up to Ian won just because of the ground game...fights should always be called fairly

Look, I had money on MVP winning, I lost. As much as I'm not a fan of Machado, he won because he grappled, MVP knew this..they were well aware of him training in Brazil. This far down the line in MVPs career he should be better on the ground. Ian won r1, mvp r2 and Ian won r3 at a push - judges were never gonna allow a draw. You have to adapt in mma/ufc this isn't just karate or kick boxing. MMA will expose you..garry is overrated, MVP has no clue what to do on the ground. Feed garry to shavkat and mvp can just be used to push other fighters along. Hes a good card filler..

@TakeASeat_1 He'll probably stick to his strengths I.e. striking and improve his takedown defence. He's just a card filler, his prime is way past him. I don't think he'll get a title shot, he's been exposed and many more in the ufc will take him down with better grappling than garry.
