On that multi color blanket you pulled out at about 22:25, look for black lines sewn into the design, it should be in one corner. If it has the black lines then its a Hudson Bay blanket, they can sell for hundreds.

I always wash my darker colored clothes inside out - indeed they don't fade out so quickly. I wouldn't call this old fashioned though, it's pretty common knowledge - or at least it should be ;) On the other hand I don't store them that way. That IS pretty weird.

One of my Japanese grandpa friends here in Japan was in the Lion's Club, he told me all old eye glasses from Japan were reused to make new eye glasses for people in African countries. I donated my old 3 pair to them. Tehama golf clothing was co-founded by Clint Eastwood in 1997. They're apparently out of business because none of the online shops claiming to sell new Tehama clothes actually have any.
