"Tasbih" or "tasbeeh" (تسبيح) refers to the act of glorifying or praising God in Islam through the repetition of certain phrases or prayers. It involves the recitation of specific phrases or names of Allah, often using prayer beads (misbaha or tasbih) to keep count. The phrases typically include expressions of praise, gratitude, or glorification, such as "Subhanallah" (سبحان الله, "Glory be to Allah"), "Alhamdulillah" (الحمد لله, "Praise be to Allah"), and "Allahu Akbar" (الله أكبر, "Allah is the Greatest"). This practice is considered a form of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and is commonly performed after prayers or at other times during the day as a spiritual exercise.

Thank you for explaining it. Me, an elder German Christian woman, knew about it because there are lots of muslims among my friends. And I wanted to explain it here because to me it felt, like she did not really get what the shop owner explained to her. Now I do not need to explain anything anymore, because I of course wouldn't been able to explain it as well as you can!

Once my children are older, it's on my list! Would welcome any advise/videos on where to go to look for guides, etc. I am also trying to speak some farsi as i believe these children in the school speak it, but i do wonder if they would understand some pashto also. Thanks for these wonderful videos. Ohhhh and a huge than k you for the captioning too and us not having to rely on KZbin subtitles! I need them, so thank you

They will be more than happy to share their culture with you I am sure if you ask them. Enjoy your time in Afghanistan، such a great people, we know they were suffering from trauma, they went through a very difficult time in the past 40 years. The international community must help them to have a better life and economy. in this way their migration to the west will be eased . Most of Afghan are leaving their country and dying on the way to Europe or being imprisoned or abused. Afghan people deserve to have better life like others.
