Wait....increase cost to Consumers via Tariffs....and off set that cost via tax cuts to all? This would disproportionately increase wealth AGAIN of the corporations. Business will pass on the cost of the Tariffs to the consumer...not absorb that cost. But Trump will give them MORE money. All this means the middleclass does not benefit - they just stay in place (at best) while the rich get richer. It is a FACT (not subjective) that corporations hold onto all margin gains (see post pandemic) and do not honor normal capital market rules. Tariffs will increase cost to the consumer (not the business as they raise their prices). And when Tariffs are listed, there is zero...ZERO reason to think those same businesses will then reduce their prices. This is such an old business vs consumer trick and I'm sorry if I'm not going to buy this BS again.
