🌈 Summary
After spending two years in rehab, 25-year-old Chris, the black sheep of a wealthy family, struggles to adapt to life outside. Insecure about his appearance, he enrolls at a gym incognito, facing mockery until Lucas, an exception, becomes his coach. Heartbreak strikes when Chris discovers his girlfriend, Indiana, cheating with his older brother, Paul. Devastated, Chris lashes out, leading Lucas to walk away from their budding friendship. Weeks later, Chris learns Lucas is the gym's owner, and his fees go to charity.
Frustrated and facing family indifference, Chris contemplates drugs. Surprisingly, Lucas delivers the package but convinces Chris to resist. They reconcile, and Chris transforms physically under Lucas's guidance. Indiana traces Chris to the gym and causes a scene, revealing his true identity. In a surprising turn, Lucas reveals his past struggles, bonding with Chris in a passionate kiss.
Lucas supports Chris as Indiana plants drugs, tarnishing his reputation. Despite family skepticism, Paul breaks up with Indiana, apologizing to Chris and expressing pride in his transformation, and Chris and his parents reconcile. On Chris's 26th birthday, Paul and Lucas surprise him with an art gallery.

I know I’m late, but the moment that one scene from this video is heartwarming that “you’re not a loser” and not judging anyone with body shame as I’m proud to hear that because that’s how I felt and I love my bf currently for the past 2yrs. I care about him & he cares the same with me as we don’t matter our body as we love each other the most.

My one rule of thumb is you're not allowed to lash out at me and anger. Because the consensus is you are genuinely speaking from the heart like how people are their most candid when drunk. So when you try to apologize and take back what you said you're effectively trying to take back the truth of how you feel

Yeah, but Chris’s outburst was a clear sign of insecurity. Like I wouldn’t have taken it to heart unless what he said was true.

Spoiler Alert: He doesn’t fall in love with his drug dealer, we only hear about him for like 3 sentences. Plus we don’t even know his name.

Once, I walked in on my friend's girlfriend cheating on him. I left and told my friend, but not before breaking the AP's jaw, I warned her that that's what I do to cheaters. I think I went overboard, but something you must understand. I have what's known as a Protector personality, and because of that, I can get extremely protective over my friends and loved-ones.

How wonderful. I am trying to help my artist friend. I have lovely friends but no personal lover after my shallow long term previous relationship broke down because of his and his subsequent partner's narcissism

Cute story; but a concerning ending. It's unwise irl to surprise anyone with the pressure of an entire business. And an artist should always be a participant in creating a show of their work. Add in the third factor of the character being a recovering addict. IRL, that surprise could have taken away the pleasure of creating his art, added on too much pressure of the business, took away his autonomy and agency of his works, and spiraled him back into an addiction. He'd already been very close to the temptation of a relapse.

Wow! I usually like your stories. Have you run out of ideas? Are you aware addiction is a huge issue in our community? This story panders to our lowest common denominator. I'd challenge you to find a storyline that has some redeeming quality.
