First, I love your videos. But, with respect to mangrove/gray snapper, and all snapper, the FWC website seems to indicate that circle hooks are required with natural baits.

Idk if you'll see this man, but when I was stationed up there I used to fish the jetties in Destin and I'm not exaggerating when I say that around the months of Sep-Oct, the jetties would be loaded with 20+ in mangroves. I know it's probably a far drive for you, but if you're willing you should definitely try it out.

Can you still fish those Destin Jetties? Eglin Commander shut down bridge access at Crab Island. But, I'm not sure about the East Jetty. Caught a zillion fish there back in the day.
