It must take a lot of courage to share these stories, given that so many people will likely mock their gullibility. Good on them for raising awareness.

Thank you for this eye opener. Many have tried and are still trying to get my money but so far, I've been unscathed. Happy to say these type of KZbin videos have helped tremendously. I stay strong. Thank God 🙏😅. I feel for all victims of fraud and scammers. You're not alone. Family and friends will always help you get through difficult times. All the best !

Sean/Shaun/Shawn got out of this the easiest because he had people to back him up who had experienced the exact same thing, in the same way, from the same person. This rarely happens. He had the strongest support from the beginning of catching the lie. Everybody else has had to struggle to be heard and to be believed. Everyone else was alone, and for a long time in their lives no one believed them. That is the hardest journey. I was only conned by a narcissist for a very long time. I didn't lose any money really, but I did lose what felt like my sanity and who I used to be as a person. It's a very long road back, and listening to these stories can still make me feel anxious because I remember the lying only too well. Kudos to all of these people for being strong enough to come forward and believe in themselves.

"Money, loan, stuck, bank, foreign country, pay back, foreign exchange, crypto, currency". Once you hear a combination of these words from a stranger, it is time to terminate and cancel. Especially if that person had given you an impression that they are financially secure. Just stick to some simple logical thinking. Like this: If you are so successful, why do you........ fill in the rest of the blanks, and do this frequently. And to get you started, "why do you need to do this online?". Don't ask them, just think about it. "why do you pick me?" is another example. Don't ask them, never, because their answer will sabotage your logical thinking.

I had a charmer steal a tennis bracelet I had out on a nightstand with some other jewelry. A girlfriend had given me her mother's after her death, and she wanted me to have it in case I fell on hard times. No way to prove he had taken it, but it was overlooked as I was packing my house to move after losing my job. These opportunists are low frequency. btw, love the Kumi's dress!

REAL men don't ask for help. If a man, especially one you have never met, asks for any type of money or gift card, BLOCK him. If he wants you to invest, BLOCK him. If he wants you to accept money & then send the money to someone else, BLOCK him.

Thank you all very much for sharing and bless all your hearts really nobody deserves to be treated like that we all need to be a lot nicer than one another maybe if we all were like nicer to one another the world would be a better place so lets all start being nicer to one another and make the world a better place. Again I think the people for showing up and sharing and I even think the producers of the program cuz we do need to bring this if she went to the light and shine a lot more light on it.

I'm still amazed that any woman would fall for this. If common sense doesn't tell you it's a huge red flag when someone who claims to be successful and has his own money and needs to borrow money from you, then God help you. These are the kind of women who need to stay offline and never consider dating sites again. More women these days need to think more about their own future and retirement. Real love and romance should not require your finances. Better to say NO and let the scammer think you're selfish and guilt trip you, than risk end up losing your own nest egg and be left with nothing. You have to put yourself and your children first in this life.

I just don’t understand how, after meeting someone who has hired a private jet, procured a high-end hotel and appears to be rich, a person wouldn’t question why that person is asking you for money. I’d suggest asking their bank or a close friend. Why is a rich man asking a person who is not rich for money? I’m not rich but I own my own home and therefore a great credit rating. If I got into trouble, I would be able to all my advisor at the bank and get money based on my assets. I’ve heard this over and over and over. They meet a man who is rich beyond belief bragging about all their assets but they are asking someone they’ve know for a few months for huge amounts of money? Alarm bells should have been ringing very, very loud. Thanks goodness there are shows like this. However, I have heard of women so very desperate to believe the lie who even presented with real evidence of the deceit, these woman believe that the 25-year old gorgeous man is truly in love with an overweight, middle-aged woman. Check your desperation level.
