I appreciate Jaguar for sharing. Sinéad O'Connor, who passed away July 26, 2023, basically tanked her own career when she performed on Saturday Night Live in 1992 - after she sang in a cappella, Bob Marley’s song, War, she took the opportunity to rip-up a photograph of Pope John Paul II to protest against abuse in the Catholic Church. She said that some Catholic priests and nuns had been abusing children for years. Her protest took place nine years before John Paul II publicly acknowledged child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. I recall an old interview of her being extremely grateful to Prince for asking her to record the song he wrote, Nothing Compares 2 U. She had respected him as a great artist/songwriter. The interviewer also asked her about the evening she met Prince at his mansion. She said Prince was on some heavy drugs and became very demanding and aggressive after a disagreement in which he wanted to settle with a pillow fight before hitting her with one that had a heavy object in it. She managed to escape and ran to a nearby neighbor’s house for help. Her manager at the time had also been his manager before being her’s, and she believes that the two may have been in some sort of disagreement that fueled Prince’s animosity towards her during that meeting. I believe she spoke openly about the crazy incident without intentionally exposing Prince - speaking without realizing how much the media would run with it as well as the repercussions. Similar to: with not realizing how much she would be publicly criticized for publicly exposing the corruption of the Catholic Church.

When I came back I had a full-blown Coke addiction let me do exposing human trafficking in Wisconsin and because I have spoken out in this state I have been arrested eight times homeless and are now currently in treatment Court although i never followed hip hop. Dear Jag, Many years ago, after I first came across your testimony I looked you up to find out, “Who the hell is Jaguar Wright?” I was amazed to realize what a phenomenal artist you are…absolutely PHENOMENAL. I instantly knew there was some skit in the game because somehow you were a far superior performer than the soulless talking heads they had been parading out for us to rock to, you were already in the circle - but I hadn’t heard your name? So I perked up and tuned in. Then Gene Deal emerged (with MWreck); I can’t remember if he was right before you or right after. But oddly enough, you weren’t in the same camp but it was clear your testimonies overlapped seamlessly - so I grabbed my popcorn and got on board with both! Once Katt came out with the Club Shay Shay bombshells and tied it all together it was a wrap! And a whole new genre was official 0:03 - and you my dear are the Queen. I remember asking myself, “How the cluck did they keep this queen hidden?” Today I realized they didn’t….God kept you right where he needed you to do his work. He bought you here for right now. You, Gene, and Katt, et al, are all here to save lives by dissuading the rest of us from so much as sampling the devil’s wares. Today’s interview was the most moving interview I’ve ever seen you in Baby Girl! God’s grown you so much in a short period of time so like you told us today, I pray that you keep moving in the direction he designed you gorgeous baby because you’re doing destiny altering work for the one TRUE boss. ❤
