As if this team deserves to be successful just by simply existing and doesn't have to earn it like every other team. The Lakers had only missed the playoffs five times in 65 seasons before 2012, now they have missed the playoffs six straight years. They'll break that streak this season, but if they weren't such a popular free agent destination and landed LeBron who knows how long it would've lasted. The "NBA royalty" thing is what annoys me.
