#1 These gentlemen are volunteers. They don't get paid one penny for their hard work cleaning these sidewalks. It is so strange that people get angry. If they have anything more to say than thank you, they should really keep it to themselves. It is just beyond the pale for these people to behave rudely, disrespectfully. #2. That woman is an adult. If she had a complaint there is a way to talk to others that communicates your needs while not being rude or disrespectful. That woman's behavior is unacceptable. When someone comes to me in that fashion, I stop them and ask "What do you need from this conversation?" That usually stops them cold because they have NEVER thought about what it is they need. They just want to unload their anger. If they need to vent they should call their mama or their therapist; I'm not the one. If people come to me they'd better come correct! I have been known to tell people just that, in a very calm and modulated tone. It throws then off because they expect you to engage on their level, and yell & scream back at them. Once again, I'm not the one. I don't give rude strangers that much of me. #3. I don't know who that man was but I'd bet it's a family member who has cleaned up her messes in the past. It appears that they have some kind of toxic, codependent relationship. It does not seem like the normal "colleague" relationship. Beyond strange.
