I Was WRONG About Black Ops 6 ZOMBIES

I feel the future of zombies is the perfect marriage between pre and post-Cold War zombies. The movement, gunplay, round difficulty progression and general mechanical feel should be ripped straight from post-CW ...and then attached to the atmosphere, simplified power system (PaP, Perks and almost nothing else), art direction and mystery/convoluted-ness from classic zombies. So basically, BO6 gameplay with classic Zombies philosophy.

I do think people forget that the mode is for fun. If you want increase the difficulty there’s the rampage inducer. Even as someone who’s played all but BO4 zombies(I’m pretending vanguard isn’t real) BO6 is one of the best. I do wish there was a way to disable the EE, kills the fun when people do it without asking. It’s really good you’re able to say you were wrong.

I think _Cold War_ did it better. They took a lot of the worst takes from _BO3/4_ like tediousness, artificial difficulty, “mUh EaSTeR eGgs™️” etc. I cannot emphasize how much people hated the boss spam in the last few games. What made _CW/MWZ_ so popular were the ease of use and not having to look up a “nO NoNsENsE gUiDE™️” if you want to even pack a punch. The Dark Aether story had so much promise, a relatively interesting story that seemed somewhat “grounded.” None of convoluted and downright silly Cthulhu-esque magical tentacle hentai story. Thank God for 5/6 very famous content creators, being the the loudest voices, gatekeeping progression behind their guides. I don’t know if you guys remember how big _CW_ was in the first few months; the accessibility and simple story were massive selling points. We had freaking TimTheTatMan playing zombies. It was only a very loud, vocal group of KZbinrs who cried the loudest, and it seems they truly have Treyarch’s ear. I *_do_* like this game, it's quite fun, thee ate just quite a few of red flags going up and we're not even in Season 1. On the story side, a lot of the ridiculous baggage we ended up with the Aether story appears to be coming back. Same thing goes for the actual gameplay
