Part of the problem is these new gamers have nothing to do all day other than play video games. Most live home until they’re in their mid 30s and they just game 24/7. They hop around every corner and they play like they drank five Red Bulls any they play like there’s $1 million on the line. A tip for you guys who have difficulty hearing footsteps. A lot of headsets have exaggerated bass and treble but recessed mids, or a flat profile. Increasing the mid range can really help.

Tiny Maps with rapid movement means team free for all. Its chaos and thats fine, but it shouldnt ALLWAYS be chaos, even the 'big' maps are chaos. There should be something for everyone. Everything is like Shipment now and not everyone like shipment chaos. Try rushing and slide jumping round Overgrown. Activision look back at your legendary COD's ( Cod4 MW2 the good BLOPS ) and work out WHY they were legendary and reproduce it. We Fucking know why they were and we are sick of telling you why.

For me MW2019 was the best COD experience I have had since the 360 days with COD4 and MW2. That game got me back in COD. I would play for hours. I spent money on the battle pass and tracer packs and various gun blue prints. They were not as aggressive with skins like MWII and MWIII next gen. I am not going to buy black ops 6 until it is discounted. I no longer pay full price for any COD game. MWIII disappointed me due to the open world campaign. I loved the theater, movie aspect of COD campaigns. They were short but fun at the same time. I heard black ops 6 is back to the old school campaign missions. Once its around $30 or less I will buy it.

This is just speculation, but from what I’d seen in the past, your prior records on other CoD games (I’d imagine 2019 onwards) actually factored into your SBMM. It’s possible they “reset” so that it starts fresh on BO6, which would account for why you had longer than usual decent games before it locked you into a bracket.

I agree with there being too many small maps. I was a big fan of cod ghosts, and that game was kind of the opposite where there were too many large maps. But a least it did have smaller available. No ground war is also a let down for me. I like large scale cod games. Hopefully this is something Treyarch address.

The SBMM is as aggressive as ranked play. Its terrible for people like me slightly better than average. I'm perpetually in slightly better lobbies forever as I grind away at slowly ranking up over and over and over. I'm glad I didn't buy this game and was able to try it on gamepass.

I think it's the spawns that are broken mainly. There's way too many revenge spawns it's ridiculous. I've noticed some other bugs like explosives killing me even with Flak Jacket on. A few things need to be sorted out with an update.

This game feels less sweaty because it's on game pass and the player pool is bigger. MWIII had literally lowest players pool since Cold war and that's why it was sweaty as fuck. Early 50s OG gamer here, if you're the problem what am I LOL. These maps are bland and designed to funnel you to the sweats with their scuffs and aimbots. At my age I can only react so fast and have to adjust stagedy and classes according depending on which map im on, no sense in rushing out just to sacrifice myself and pad someone else's stats. If i paid for it i would say Black Ops 6 sucks but i get free on game pass so ill just do my thing and keep my 1 k/d.

Cod has been skewed towards making every player feel good. They've done this simply because bad players and people with crap pings wouldn't enjoy them selves and would most likely not get the next game that releases. I learnt this a long time ago when they started messing with their lag compensation to give high ping players an even playing field. What ended up happening was the game would sync your response times down to match the high ping player but the side effect would be the high ping player became godlike while you get shot round corners and pump full clips in to people's backs only for them to turn around and kill you. When it was peer to peer the game was pure. If you're connection sucked, rightly so you go wrecked. All of this above was evident to me anytime I went back to COD4 modern warfare on Xbox 360. I could boot up COD4 after years, play my 1st match and I'd go like 20-0 not even camping, running and gunning, choppers coming out my ass. Then go back to any modern cod and I'd end up like 5-15. Cods been dead to me once I realised it's highly manipulated to sell to a wide audience. Hell I remember on black ops 2,a guy was afk, just stood there not moving, I shot him twice point blank with a shotgun after doing some teabag dance, I got ZERO hit markers, he picked up his controller and insta killed me😂 Yea been done with cod a long time now ha. And I'm a 41 year old gimmer like you so we've seen all these subtle changes the youngens haven't.

I'm not sure how sweaty these players really are though. Half of them will probably end up with a .9 KD by the time the game is over. I think at this point the skill floor for COD is just what it is. A 6th grader could learn to slide cancel and bunny hop because the skill floor for it is low. You just have to commit to doing it. Especially in a game with cracked out movement like this. Even a pair of 100 dollar headphones can do the job of helping you sound whore and scuff controllers are readily available. At this point I don't know what COD does anymore. If you turn off SBMM will it really limit you from running into players who bunny hop and slide cancel at lower levels?

There is something about this COD. The movement system is a whole discussion in itself but to be brief I think it's ok. However the animations need a lot of work. The maps aren't bad but they aren't good, they are just ok. The guns are everything you expect from guns you have seen 1000times, they are ok. So you start to see a theme here😅 every thing is just ok. It's not a terrible game and it's not a great game. it literally is a soulless product and nothing you really do while playing BO6 sets the tone, everything comes together in a way that just isn't that great to play past a few games. Every now and then you dive through a doorway and kill someone and go oh sheet that kinda cool and that's about it 😅 BO6 is lifeless right now and the player base is literally diehard COD fans and Gamepass players who just downloaded it because it was free.

Not long fired up the Xbox, log on, second match and theres a c**t running around at Prestige 5 with the top camo with head spinning movement absolutely shitting on the whole lobby. Hes coming up in the kill feed as being killed then randomly drops a nuke less than half way through the match. Either im old and busy with life and work or there was something fishy going on. Based on same engine as MW3, was easy for the cheat providers to keep up. Last match before I quit last night, less than 2 minutes in, there were non-stop uav's, sentry guns, choppers and other killstreaks down. There wasn't a break in them at all.
