Welcome to the Erebaan side, Ricia! Thank you so much for the shout out, that was really nice of you and appreciated. You're actually really good at Erebban too, I've done this mode with a few people co-op and it's been really smooth when it's been with you. Also, I'm surprised you didn't die on that first door, that was impressive! My Necromancer gets hit crazy hard if I'm stuck for 2 seconds at the door and can easily die. I really do like this mode for capping gems at my own pace solo. Thanks again!

I run solo gate to erraban weekly to cap my gems in maybe an hour, or two getting level 8 most of the time. Much easier than finding a party and doing verge or hidden lairs.

For sure! Lairs are fast to run once you’re inside, but it can take a while farming them. I like the flexibility with Erebban that it’s easy to run solo if none of your friends are online to play.

I was undecided between the two for a bit, but Ereban is definitely the way to go solo. Escaping with about 2:45 on the clock as a dash sader. My side wizard is doing that but only at danger 6. The reason the doors wont open sometimes is because the mobs are hitting you. On my sader that's as easy as activating the shield first, but have to be a bit more crafty on the wizard. Using a build with a bunch of damage immunity on shield armor affixes. That seems to work!

I find it easy getting to dangerlevel 8 on wizard but I have enhanced movement speed from WB buff, as well as Brawler paragon on top of Sprightspark which pretty much has 100% uptime which definitely helps with the runs!

I run ereban because you don’t need to kill the mobs: I choose Harbinger, and pick all the essences that give speed boost for the class. this is great for my alts, most character at h3-inf can do 6gem in about 2 min, or 8 in about 3. Doing this is faster than lairs as there’s no travel time.

Yeah for sure! It’s not at all time consuming unlike other weekly gen farming activities, and you definitely can just avoid the mobs in this mode, unlike verge where you have to kill them. 🙏🏻

Great vid and i find myself always in this predicament. Verge if your wb is online or maybe randoms is best followed by erreban. Erraban solo is great

So Eraban is a bit straining for me where verg is bit relaxing and more fun. But yes Eraban is much faster if u wanna cap ur gems, just need a very fast built. The reason why monster essence is more in Eraban is cuz even if u don't pick up ur essence, u will still recive it in the end where in verg u actually have to pick it up, or else ur not getting it.

I’ve had the Monsterous Essenve drop at the end of Verge too when I’ve it picked it up, but only ever one. I guess with Erebban it’s somewhat of a smaller area and you retract your steps too, so Monster Essence is picked up more easily this way also.

There should be a mode in Erebban to get exclusive loot if you manage to kill the Boss solo and it the difficulty would significantly goes up depending on how many party members there are with you as well as the rewards would be better if no one dies. IDK just a thought

I don’t think the boss is even targetable with Erreban right now - that would be a cool change, especially if his HP was crazy high and if it was super hard to do.

I prefer the verge because it gives more loot. For the verge, the gem drops increase every 500 points. 2 gems for 500, 4 for 1k and so on. Also errebban is sometimes bugged. Whenever I use Daring swing there are chances I get teleported somewhere. The only advantage of errebban is it gives more exp and monster essences.

For me, the loot isn’t relevant as my gear is all maxed out on levels other than greens, but I have a huge stockpile of scrap materials. 🥲

I do Erebban too, its much faster than Verge, very easy to run around open chests to get to danger 6 and open big chest and leave, always gives 3+3 gems. So need total 21 runs for cap. Like 2-3 minutes per run so around 1 hour per week

Hmm I find erraban frustrating at times but easier to do than verge - verge in a party is good though

I drag my 3 alt chars through the lairs. This gives the 63+63 gems, plus 3x 63 tradeable gems. This takes less than 2 hours and you can see your mini chars grow fast (mine just got to I3 only with lairs and raids).

A lot of people with alts do the lairs still, but I have just two characters and one device, and my normal gems get used for both characters. :)

For me Erebban is more stressful than Verge which with good teammates can be done easily. Hidden Lairs are still an option when I want to relax and fast wince no one is chasing them anymore. In terms of time all three options stand at about the same amount anyway give or take 5 or 10 minutes.

For me personally, I can farm my gems faster in Erebban now than the other modes, but sometimes it’s fun to do a lair or two for a change. :)

Its not a bug its because u get burnt from flames on the sides of doors. I just scape without opening the big chest, sure i have to wait till timer ends but it's almost a guarantee that u won't die

Most of the time, even when burned I can still open the door, but on occasion it’s like this and cannot be opened. 🥲

ereban in a 2 man party is even faster . we dont open the big chest - just reach lvl 8 and quickly turn back .

I detest both verge and erebban. I prefer to have more relaxed gameplay than a countdown timer and being mobbed. I guess for adrenaline junkies... Maybe it's faster, but no thanks. Sadly DI has gone timed mob crazy with first Castle Defence, then purge. Followed by Accursed Towers. But they really ramped this up with verge, erebban, hellslayer bounties, oblivion pillars and even T Rifts, though that last mode decreases your damage/increases demon health more than being mobbed is an issue. If nothing else, I'm usually frustrated because it feels like there arent enough mobs/elites to kill in t rifts, especially in Dark Wood and Shassar Sea. And of course now Vanguard which is just a wtf timed mobbed mode. It seems the only idea they have is more mobs attacking you all at once, while timed. I'm pretty bored with all of it and still prefer reg bounties, OW and lairs. It's more chill. I play DI to relax, not get all hyped up. And these are the original modes that were in the game at release and why many of us OG players kept playing. Fortunately, I can simply ignore most of these newer timed mobbed modes. I wish they'd add new modes that dont fall into this basic timed mob mold. And why are verge, erebban and vanguard crammed together in that tiny room when there's all that open space in Southern Westmarch??? And no bestiary. And no Essence extraction. Gah. I hate it. Not for me. I only go to that basement for Vanguard. But I confess, I am curious to see what new portal they can cram into that room next. 😂😂😂😂

Haha yeah I don’t understand why all the portals are in such a tiny space either. It’s quite funny seeing multiple players in such a tiny space too. 😅 I only run Erreban and Verge for gems, or when I was fast battle points. To relax I play Terror Rifts or dungeons as I ca just zone out. Although, I agree, there is a lack of mobs in TR and I felt this more when they updated TR to remove the mobs once at the spire.

Yeah 3 unbound and bound. Erreban gives 4 unbound and bound. Erreban should only take about 3 & half mins. I prefer Erreban. You don’t have to zone and run to them.

@harrisonhill9926 with how the other stuffs going auto nav it's done in mins for me. For newbies they don't get the crests from exploring the game either. Biggest downer from new content. The crests thays in the explore is decent enough if low spender or f2p.

You get a bit less than you could have gotten. if you reach danger lv 8 u get 4 and 4 gems, but if u fail to escape you get only 3 and 3

Even with a good speed sader build, I tend to S U C K at Errband. Therefore, I prefer Verge for my weekly gems. I think even Mao said the XP gain difference between Verge & Errband is negligible in comparison, but I may be remembering wrong on that.

Yeah I did a couple of runs on each with my Necromancer yesteday and the XP for each run was very similar, only I earned more gems from Erebban.

Verge all day. Granted i play a dash horse sader build and can get 2k solo pretty regularly which gives 8 gems. Playing with a partner is basically guaranteed 2k score. I also just find it to be way more fun. Who wants to just run and open chests? We don't build up our characters as much as we can just to avoid fighting and only focus on movement speed. Erreban puts me to sleep. Verge is kind of an adrenaline rush. I'll stick to my verge all day.
