Idk if that's the reason why i stuck with them. I feel like that it's easy to listen their songs than other kpop groups. I normally don't like kpop groups's raps because a lot of times i hate to hear raps middle of vocalists because then it starts to sound like a remix. Exo is the only group that i can go through raps without being annoyed. Idk why but this is me. Chen's albums, suho's albums,exo-sc these are more easier to listen. I really like exo and i think i find everything what i want in exo. 🥺☁️

Universe album came out when my mom passed away and I remember reading lights out lyrics before getting the album and I feel like they were comforting me with their voices. It was the hardest time in my life and EXO helped me basically survive so I would always be grateful for them and this album.

fun fact: exo-l's fandom color is cosmic latte. you'll see that the universe mv starts off with black coffee and squiggly lines / entanglement, and towards the end they add in the cream / milk , therefore creating the cosmic latte. and the lines are cut off / not tangled anymore, but rather straight lines. it signifies how exo-l's bring exo direction and purpose. even the lyrics talk about "searching the universe" for us. another fun fact: all of the songs in the universe ep use gender neutral pronouns, such as "me" and "you" instead of "he/she"

That's whats different from EXO's winter album, they don't always emphasis on the joy side of christmas, but they always emphasis the love or mood in winter season, either about farewell, being betrayed, and yes sometimes about the love to share smile, present, or happiness to someone else, with of course the god tier vocals~

The whole coffee thing is supposed to be a metaphor for "not everything is black or white in life" (like coffee and milk) and the MV is about sharing your burdens with those who care about you, that's why the strings tied around Kai released him once the scene where coffee and milk crashing comes up and everything goes from being tangled to being simple lines (like the painting in the wall and the string next to the coffee cup at the end)

The origianl lights out is really good already, but there are concert version with Chen only too. It's his solo stage and i was there.. in the concert. Everyone just lost their mind and kept quiet to appreciate Chen's voice. The light on the stage also really beautiful. That's very amazing stage. 🥺

I too am not a fan of winter albums, so I just took a journey with you as you listened to this album. I cannot believe how every song far exceeded every expectation I had for a winter song. Lights Out made me, a ballad disliker, completely floored. My fav is Been Through though. This album is the easiest 10/10 album I've listened to this year. 'Disappointing' is never in Exo's dictionary.

Something i love about exo is whichever song I'm currently listening to is my favorite just like whichever member is currently on screen/ promoting is my bias. EXO-Ls are so freaking spoiled. No one, even Hollywood or British groups can be liken EXO, because, they already proven that they can sing any genres, such Rock, R&B, Hip hop, Raggae, Classic,, A Capella and many more. The blended of their vocals are so amazing. I think when God gives rains of vocals, EXO members catches them, why SM is very lucky having EXO in their company. Like wine, the more it gets old the more it tastes excellent! In other group u can only find or see with one, two vocalists or even 4 or 5, but in EXO? They're 9 guys! Even Sehun that isn't confident is actually has a good voice...come on Sehun, show what u got, don't be shy, lol! All I can say is....never seen and heard a group with excellent blending of good vocals, only from EXO!group. They're the ones should deserve as worldwide #1 vocal group, not a regular group that couldn't even sing good, lol!

This album is just pure bliss. Literally godsend, I can't express how much all of these songs helped me get through tough times, especially Light's Out.
