I learned hedging from you and I now implement it in my trading but the way you go about it very different lol that goes to show trading is subjective

I would say you waited too long to hedge Hugh. That first retest would’ve made it easier but making the video longer may be the reason… lol! Merry Christmas…

Do you also look at higher time frames (Daily/weekly) in this case to conform to the downside bias? If not, what about fundamentals (dovish Fed/falling oil)?

I use the higher timeframes to potentially define support/resistance levels, not momentum. I don't use fundamentals except for interest rates.

So my impression is that your strategy is mostly discretionary with some focus on support and resistance levels. How often do you run into situations where price action doesn't come back to break even levels like in this video? What do you in those situations?

About 30% of the time it won't come back. If it doesn't, I have 8 ways to exit, depending on what I think the market will do. I Roll Off losses against gains.

@@TradingHeroes do you use a portion of the profits from the position in profit to reduce the size of the losing opposite position? I watched the video before where you talk about your roll off strategy but is there a video where you mention all 8 of your methods?

Yes, I use a portion of the profits. The 8 exits are only in the full course.
