U have to press R2 before L2 to activate the baby bump, if u press them at the same time, there’s 50% chance to fail.

Probably too late now but after you deflect with rock solid, you can instantly use a heavy attack with the thrust and pillar stances, that would interrupt yellow loong's throw and push him away to a safe distance

Yellow loong gave me such a hard time i was getting frustrated. Had to leave him for the time being and come back after exploring some more of the next chapter. The creature designs are surreal throughout the game. I really like this game, recently finished it too. Did also the secret ending but damn the boss gave me even more trouble than yellow loong. (No spoilers)

That only took me 2 tries, idk why ur not using azur dust he’s the best. U can literally put the controller down after transforming get some food, stretch then cast the spell. Do it again then get back into the fight

Is there a reason you're not using the Yin Tiger's special ability? It can do much more damage than the single big hit you otherwise do. Also stunlocks many bosses.

Third hardest boss in whole game. You still have number 2 and big ol number 1 to go hehehe 😈. The weapon you get for beating the hardest boss is awesome though. Makes NG+ a breeze.

YW is considered the hardest one if you decide to face him at this stage, since he has ridiculous amount of HP and do way too much damage, but I'd put him on par with the other hardest boss in term of progression

Everyone struggles with different bosses but Yellow Loong is objectively not the hardest. If you come back to him after chapter 5 you'll beat him easily as opposed to fighting him when you first come across him. End game bosses however- More health, more damage, and multiple phases.
