Jeong and mina watching out the window & seeing darkness is a metaphor for their uncertain feelings during their own health breaks. But just as the lyrics say, the members light up the flares even if theyre miles apart. Without a doubt, theyll make it thru cos they always got each other

If you know their history you will see the references to Mina and Jeongyeong’s anxiety hiatuses, Sana’s deep depression from the hatred thrown at her and I think Jihyo’s depression from her false dating scandal. They’ve had very tough times and had to rely on each other to weather the stormy seas.
