I had a PRP under eye treatment a few years ago. It paralyzed the right side of my face for a few hours. It scared the crap out of me as I was afraid it would be permanent. My face was screwed up in an awkward shape for too long that day and although this was the second time, it was also my last. Never saw any results and maybe I needed more treatments but I was and am still afraid of any further. I'm afraid that my vanity may become my demise. I feel like the PRP as well as the 3 fractional Lazer treatments I got, made my under-eye wrinkles worse!!!

Most collagen supplements are actually already broken down into peptides composed of 2 or 3 amino acids. These peptides are used wherever they are needed throughout the body. If you are not consuming enough protein to provide the amino acids for consonstructing collagen in the skin, a collagen supplement may support collagen production. I am aware of no research that collagen supplements stimulate collagen production. Collagen supplements are essentially food. They support but don’t stimulate.

Hi Gorgeous and Amazing Dr. Boz! I am on day 6 of my own 21-day fast, doing just a can (sometimes two) of sardines a day, plus a blended whole lemon (to ward off any prostate issues) each day, and I feel GREAT. To prepare for this 21-day fast, I went 100% carnivore for a whole month, with the last 12 days eating raw beef or lamb liver (12-oz/day) to help my wonderful liver to get ready to work its ass off in clearing my body of 64 years of being addicted to carbs. I've lost 40 lbs since the start of the 100% streak of going carnivore. My ketone counts have been insane -- starting at 4.0 the very first morning of the fast, ranging from 4.0 to 16.0, usually around 6.0 to 8.0 throughout each fasting day so far. People are noticing the difference in me, big-time, even ones who had seen me just a week ago. I moved into a big, steel barn that has no power, no Internet, but the sleeping in it -- 'cause of no EMFs, no WIFI, etc -- has been utterly fantastic, with sleeps of 10 to 12 hrs each night, with the barn being utterly pitch-black dark, so dark that I can't even see my own hand 3 inches from my face. No heat in the barn, either, and I'm walking around on smooth, cold concrete, allowing the natural Earth energy to flow up into my body as I move about, settling in. I live in the California Sierra mts at the 3,000-ft elevation, surrounded by conifer trees / forests. I have a "dope-soak" tank (a 200-gal stainless steel tank) that I jump into (38-deg water...BRUTAL!) for about 4 minutes, then I'd stand up to scrub my skin with skin-cleansing gloves, with the aims of stimulating skin growth, then back into the water for another 5 min...I hoping that this does stimulate skin growth/rejuvenation. Dr. Andrew Huberman, a genius dude, is the inspiration for this kind of soaking my ass in freezing-ass-cold water. With the sunny weather, I'm laying out in the sun in my b-day suit (in a former 420 garden, surrounded by a wooden fence) making lots of Vit-D, plus finally getting some color in my rosy-pink, white-ass skin. I started at 320 lbs; now I'm 279 lbs on my way to 200 lbs. 40 lbs off in 40 days so far, and I was not even trying to lose weight when on the 30 days of going carnivore to prepare for this 21-day fast. My aim was simply to make my body fat-adapted, so that I could do the fast with minimal issues, and the segue into the fast has been seamlessly smooth and great. I found 4-oz cans of no-salt sardines at Grocery Outlet for just a $1.30 each; salted ones are $2.00 each, so I bought 100 of those salt-free cans, then I salt the shit out of them with Himmy salt when I eat the sardines. I'm really enjoying this process, yo, Dr. Boz. Thank you for who you are and for your wonderful information! And may you always look sexy and radiantly beautiful as you go along!

The bottom line is we are all going to get old and wrinkled, if we live that long. The question is will you ever be okay with that? Pushing back the inevitable, even by ten years, is not facing reality. When I was 14 and found my first white hair, yes, my sister pulled it out of my head and I kept it in a scrapbook, then two grew back in its place, I realised that I would be prematurely grey, like my fraternal grandmother, and I decided then to embrace it and vowed to never dye my hair. I am now 62 and have never dyed my hair, even when my mother said I would look younger if I did, my husband said he didn't care. Now that wrinkles are appearing I am less bothered by them than some because I had to deal with looking old at a young age. I still have people say they are surprised at my age, they think I am much younger, but that may be because I also seldom ever wear makeup. I stopped wearing that in my early thirties. I may put on a little rouge and mascara for a formal picture, like my daughters wedding, but that is it. Anyway, learn to love yourself, including the wrinkles and grey hairs. And Dr Boz, you said you wouldn't do it again, just this once... I wonder what Michael Jackson said before his first plastic surgery, just this once. 🤷

Is taking free range bovine collagen or Marine collagen good for anything even if it's not for your skin can you take it for your bones or cartilage or anything? Or it's just useless?

I take it for bones, nails and hair.

@@heatherknowles3124 me too but now I'm wondering if its really working for that purpose? Or maybe it's a waste of my money?

I started taking bovine collagen hoping to improve my skin. It was so thin that I would bleed just from brushing against a wall. Within a couple of months taking collagen, that no longer happens. My skin is so much stronger, I'll take it as long as it's on the market.

I’m taking bovine collagen peptides and found after 3 days my crepe skin is looking better already.. I’m drinking more water and reducing coffee intake. (Male 61, Carnivore)

That's awesome that it's working for you. I'm hoping that we can get the science behind this from Dr. B. 👍

Yes. But swallowing it does not make it inside your body.

MAYBE I CAN HELP YOU! I did the facial laser resurfacing about 35 years ago, in San Francisco. Doctor Rabkin had us mix 2.5% Hytone with Vaseline, 50-50. Covered entire treated area, and kept it "wet" to prevent scabs from forming. I practiced on my wife, she went first, using Saran Wrap over entire area also. Cut eye, nose, and mouth openings, and used tape on edges to keep it on. Worked well, even overnight. Used for 4 or 5 days, until new skin had developed. Now, at 87, people marvel at my youthful appearance. Hope you do as well. We had a friend follow suit, but with a different doctor, and did not use Hytone & Vaseline, and developed scabs, causing some scaring, that remained a long time. New to your channel. Just "found" you yesterday on KZbin, and checked you out thoroughly. Very Impressed. Signed up for your course. I started Keto on January 1, 2023, and did pretty well for 6 months. 18-6 fasting, and even OMAD was easy. But, I had trouble when I tried to switch to Carnivore after 6 months. Was still insulin resistent, and didn't know it. Going back to Keto until I fix my digestive issues. I'm sure your course will help. So sorry your mom and dad had their issues, but we are lucky, since that is probably prompted you to write the book and do this channel. I get your 3 books from Amazon tomorrow. Very curious to find out how they are doing. Hope you answer that in the books. Good luck to you!!!

Glad i'm a man that shaves. I swear everyday shaving gave me perfect wrinkless skin. My neck for example looks more young and tight than my wifes who is younger. She also uses dozens of creams and retinol. Go figure how much these products really do.
