The cool thing about the franchise is thar any stupid decision the kids make, like not wearing shoes, can be explained away by the fact that they're dreaming - and you do stupid stuff in your dreams. Definitely check out the rest of the series, it's a lot of fun.

You should watch the second one! Its actually gay! The screenwriter was a closeted man, and the lead actor was too, but NO ONE else in the production realized they were making a gay movie! You should watch it!

Supernatural slasher movies are so campy it’s hard believe if anyone was legitimately scared of them even when they came out. Speaking of, you gotta consider watching Leprechaun (1993) some day. It’s also very goofy, but I actually think the makeup job and costume design on the usually great actor Warwick Davis as the killer Leprechaun is better than Freddy’s.
