In ep7 when Cyn showed N the vision of what they did on earth, she was actually attempting to reposess him, just like she tried in ep5, just more quickly, but the safeguards Uzi installed in ep5 saved him (as can be seen in the purple text box that appears on N's visor when the posession is prevented). i just realised in ep 4 when uzi enters the cabin (the first one) and right after she breaks the locks and looks around you can see cans model from ep 7 and 8 i’m pretty sure it was a foreshadow and then you can also see her hand crawling away from the corner of the turn
