She said holding her sword makes things clearer so I think that's when she remembers what she's done. So the calm, polite and aloof but friendly Acheron we first meet must be the "normal" her. I think the alter ego is just a split personality that sometimes takes over and makes Acheron forget - remember, when we first met Acheron, she talked about having a bad memory. Anyhoo.

You always join the games at the most opportune times lol. First, you joined Genshin when it was in its first anniversary and now Star Rail. HSR is entering it's 1st anniversary soon, they will essentially give out 30 pulls in the next patch. With the Honeymoon Period for new players, you are basically guaranteed a 5 star in 2.1, the beginner banner also gives a 5 star after 50 pulls which you'll get after a few days.

The annihilation gang is group we saw a few trailers ago. The one where the boss was the guy with the horned skull for a head. This is so recent it's new for us as well. When we saw the trailer we assumed that they will be the main villains of this arc. But apparently she already killed the boss? We don't know anything 😅

The Penacony stuff is so weird because most of Penacony's story is set inside a collective dreamscape, where constraints of reality don't always apply. Things can happen that wouldn't be possible anywhere else. The dev team took full advantage of it, making puzzles that rely on forced perspective and optical illusions

my personal theory for Acheron is that she is the emanator for nihility. 2 reasons are, you see IX in the animated short and that Duke Inferno was no match for her that she didn't care to remember killing him

Well Duke Inferno was no match for most emanators in the first place, mix in the fact that we're talking about a Raiden Mei here (Seriously though all Meis end up being canonically broken. One awakened as the Origin, another sliced a mountain in half just to kill a sea serpent, and Acheron clearly has ties to a similar fate as Earth where they failed to save Izumo while Earth was saved by Kiana, Mei and Bronya) He probably stepped on a landmine and got a quick 1000 slices from her katana. Seeing what happened to Ifrit, his children probably ran like hell.... no pun intended of course Edit: It'd be cool now that Ifrit is dead, that his children filled with rage finally gain the gaze of Nanook to go on a warpath. That'd be a sweet storyline

There was one more animated short featuring Clockie that you skipped over. You did the first one which was the penacony travel promotional video. But there is a second one titled "welcome to dreamville" I'm suprised nobody else mentioned it. Also please do the rest of the keeping up with Star Rail. I love them so much with all the little jokes they put in with owlbert. And it introduces you to the 4* characters since they unfortunately don't get much spotlight in the rest of the trailers.

If you dont know Elements: Fire, Lightning, Ice, Wind, Quantum and Imaginary Paths: Destruction(Sacrifice Hp for Dmg:Dps,Either multi target or Single target), Preservation(Shield and Defense), Abundance(Heals), Nihility(Debuffs), Harmony(Buff), Erudition(Multi-target Dps), Hunt(High Single target Dps) There is "Weakness Break" "Effect hit rate" and the other one i forgot but you can see it in character Stats

Just filling in some gaps, you forgot that physical is an element, destruction was originally just tanks who wanted to be hit until Blade and Jing Liu showed up (Arlan doesn’t count), and either effect res or speed (VERY important late game) I believe was the one you forgot. Here's some clarification about some details in the last trailer: 'Rondo Across Countless Kalpas'. I'll try to keep spoilers to a minimum, but this stuff is currently near the end of the game so... Yeah. A couple things may slip through. I'll leave enough space that the Read More button should cover it all up. Skip if you want to experience everything yourself! XD | V | V | V | V | V | V | V 1. The Annihilation Gang is the group led by Duke Inferno from 'A Night of Ever-Flame'. Duke Inferno is the guy with the horns, flaming head, and rather dapper looking suit. XD 2. Black Swan is a Memokeeper, which essentially means she has the ability to delve into and explore people's memories. 3. Acheron's got something wild going on, so Black Swan was essentially getting slaughtered inside Acheron's mind while they were dancing. It's hinted at in the storyline that Acheron wasn't even fully aware that this occurred while they were dancing. 4. Most importantly, that dance scene is actually canon, as it is mentioned in the quest as having happened.

To clear up a couple of things regarding the most recent short, Black Swan is a “Memokeeper” meaning she keeps records of and can peek into people’s memories. She tried peeking into Acheron’s memories to supposedly figure out what has happened to the Annihilation Gang and her involvement in the death of Duke Inferno, Ifrit. At the end of the 2.0 story quest it is mentioned by another character that (in the least spoilery way I can possibly put it) Acheron is a lot more dangerous than she appears and just being near her would put your life at risk. Acheron when we meet her in game appears to have a terrible memory forgetting many details and forgets even how she got here. In the 2.1 trailer she states ‘It’s only when the sword is unsheathed, that those hazy memories start to become clearer’ implying that her sword seals her memory in some way. (That last part was more of an educated guess)

Don't be suprised if u don't understood all of it since the Myriad Celestia trailers are meant for world building and u need at least have played some of the game to get a feel for it. As for the Keeping up with Star Rail videos, here's a suggestion, why not take a look at the main site's character section and select a few who u'd think would be cool to play and make a list from that. Keep in mind that 4 star characters might not have a video about them though most have at this point aside from the ones that the game launched with.
