That's Sammy Terry on the TV!! His son still does the act. He's a really nice guy. I was just a little kid on the 70's when Sammy was on. Most of the movies were from the 40's&50's but they were all pure gold to me. ❤😊

You think the US is even in the violent top 10? 😂😂😂
@justcody46154 ай бұрын
Pretentious movie fan with a g here, the most violent cinema on earth is all former fascist countries especially from the 70s to 80s. Italy, Germany and Japan love gore and violence, Italy throws blasphemy on top of it. Sociologists think it's probably because Fascist media pushed "life affirming" "happy" "patriotic" media all the time and the post fascist liberalism sort of defined itself by allowing the formerly taboo. Takeaway: Media is not necessarily an appropriate way to Guage the values of a country.

And Doc, great post wrap up story! I have a whole new respect for you. To have the ability to admit that in the past you were not society’s “perfect” ideal person. But someone who has lived an amazing life and most definitely continues to do so! As I too have indulged in a bit too much of a good thing and it led me down a road which I have both regrets and experiences that I never would’ve had otherwise. That may sound strange but I can fully attest that it’s true. Thanks for all your hard work on tonight’s show, and I really enjoyed this one! If only!

I remember a late night show from the early 80’s, and in my head, it was called the Klinks or the Clinks. It was creepy. I remember these like mannequins who appeared in your bathroom mirror behind your medicine cabinet. I was 6 or 7 at the time and watched it out at my grandparents farm. The stations that came in were PBS, CBS, NBC or ABC. That was it. If anyone can help me try and figure out what I might have watched please let me know. Thank you.

Lmao, nope, never had that experience. Nothing scary...always something funny. I remember having a blast one weekend when I was 16. I won't say what all was happening but we got to the point that we were trying to just chill out. Someone asked me to record the last episode of Seinfield for them. I couldn't figure out how to record on the VHS even though I saw the button. I started laughing and couldn't stop for an hour. Another time I put a random video in the VCR I found while hanging out at guy friends house and it was...not what the title said it was....I think I laughed for an hour about that too. And the volume button was blaring!!!! lol
