Christmas, to me, is all about nostalgia and tradition. I'm so glad you got to explore this CD on that awesome laptop.

I’ll tell ya, I’ve owned so many laptops since I got this one and I never found one I like as much. Everything makes sense with the layout and the button mouse works a million times better than any other button mouse!

The CD is from 1993, but the laptop is from 1996-1997. I had one of those at work, so I was certain it wasn't quite 30 years old yet :) Getting close though.

Ah! That sounds right! I now remember I had a Hewlett-Packard PC before I got this laptop. It’s still my favorite laptop!

This is a great video. I quite happily enjoyed watching Weezer's 'Buddy Holly' on my Windows 95 install disc many times before seeing it anywhere else. My expectations for quality were far lower back then - it just looked fine (and it was on the amazing format of the future CD-ROM!). With all the quizzes and facts I think this would have been more than adequate for me in 1993. Although I should acknowledge I'm still collecting and watching films on Laserdisc in 2024.

Jim Henson’s daughter did confirm that her dad did not name Ernie and Bert after the movie characters. She says he just thought they were funny names.

I tried leaving a comment, but KZbin said "No Printer Device installed".
