They had to kill Pietro. They made a compromise with FOX who owns the movie rights to the X-Men/mutant characters. the Maximoff twins were a legal grey area. Cuz they are mutants but are also Avengers members. So Marvel/Disney got Wanda and they got to use Pietro for exactly ONE movie and then FOX got to keep him for the X-Men franchise.

Scarlett Johansson was pregnant when they shot parts of the movie so they used a lot of stunt doubles. They liked to play a game of how long it takes the other actors to realize it's not Scarlett. I think Chris Evans took 20 minutes

I think the reason it was bashed a bit is because it essentially hits all the same story beats and basic plot lines the first movie does. Eg: another avenger fights hulk, an antagonist becomes a protagonist in the latter half, they fight a faceless cgi army, captain America and iron man argue etc etc. That being said I still really like this movie.

That vision Tony was seeing at the beginning was Wanda playing with his PTSD. That’s a part of what Tony fears what’s going to happen. Even as the movie goes on when he’s talking about how they can stop little crimes all day but don’t know how they will stop what’s coming from the unknown Hence thanos. Also when they all happened to be in the same city at the same time, Chris Evans (Captain America) sent the group chat two words: Avengers Assemble And they all met up at a local bar to reunite for the night. 70% of the Avengers/MCU cast have a background in music or musical theatre, with the exception of the actor playing Pietro, Vision, Thor, and Rhodey/Lt. I forgot how much I love this movie. James Spader did such a great job of voicing Ultron. And I love when Vision says, ‘I just am.’, like he’s still shocked to be in a body. The only part I hate is that they killed off Quicksilver so quickly. I know it was to give Wanda the push she needed for the finale, but they didn’t have to really kill him. It’s Marvel, they could have figured it out. I love how they set up why Hawkeye looks out for Wanda so much in later movies.

Technically Wanda and Pietro are mutants which are more associated with the X-Men and Fox had the film rights for those characters which is why we haven't heard Wanda called the Scarlet Witch until WandaVision. Disney finally got the rights back to the X-Men and Fantastic Four so we'll be seeing those characters in the MCU in the future. The actor that played Pietro in WandaVision was the Quicksilver in the Fox X-Men films, but this Wanda and Pietro are not X-Men.... Yet. Here's hoping. 🤞

The visions that Wanda was giving to them was just playing up each Avenger's worst fear and doubts. Thor, Cap, and Tony all got visions of them not being able to save the people around them. Tony's is more unique since he's been at the forefront of each of their battles and each one took a toll on his mental health. He became so paranoid of what could happen, whichwas emphasized by Wanda's manipulation, and hinted at Thanos (Endgame) and led him to create Ultron and Thor to create Vision. It's also why he chose the government's side in Civil War because he was starting to feel heavy guilt

Youre right about Tony and his dad being one of the people who always seem to contribute to the bad. He's a genius and its his fear that he didnt do enough even when he knows he couldve. Out of them, he was the one who saw whats beyond the portal when he the nuclear bomb there. Hence he's more fearful and somewhat paranoid that it will happen again or worse. 21:26 I don't think here are any more action sequences, but there are more scenes with Pietro - we find out after he and Wanda ran away from the final scraps of Hydra he started using his speed ability to help local Sokovians ie getting an old man his medication because he can't afford it. He also used it to steal clothes as a way of flirting with various women and later teased Wanda that she was just jealous that she didn't get a new dress. Wanda warned him that if he kept stealing he'd get shot but he just rolled his eyes. Get the feeling life since the bomb hit their apartment was tough for both of them but they had each other and that that was how and why they coped. Then she lost him. Pity they deleted those scenes though, would've been nice to see a bit more of them as people and some warning ahead of time that they weren't bad people, just made the wrong decisions on who to trust.

This version of Pietro was my favorite and I was so pissed they killed him off. Yes I really wish they would bring him back but I don't think they will at this point. Scarlett Witch became my favotire character with her introduction into this movie.

We have an eat-in kitchen. The dining room is currently a playroom. We have plans to move the table in there eventually. We have used it as a dining room before, but with four kids, it’s hard to clean the hardwood in there. So we prefer the linoleum in the kitchen for all the inevitable food spills.
