You've hit the right spot girl. And you've hit it hard. I too mull over why they have to be so much obsessed with South Indian movies!! Like u said, they should rather spend their resources and time on making something which the masses can relate with. As an audience, I'd rather watch something like Jaari, Purano Dunga, Loot, Kabaddi Kabaddi franchisee, The Godfather franchisee, The Scarface, The Shawshank Redemption, The John Wick franchisee, etc over and over again than to watch the D-Grade version of some South Indian movies. They think ki Nepali movies can can be like South Indian movies but they forgot that south indian movies are showing their culture and story in their movies. They used to do hero le ek punch hanera 10 jana udni in past also and even today. The difference is past ma cringe dekhinthiyo, ahile they improved it because of their execution. We are just copying aru ko industry culture. movie ko bich ma hero heroine nachaunu is uniqueness of Indian movies. We have to find out hamro uniqueness first. I saw a video about chinese movie industry. The chinese movie industry is also a flop movie industry because they start copying american style of movie, their style and their cultural influence which chinese audience cannot related it with the chinese society.

Nepali movie nowadays is a joke 😂🤣 seriously, there is nothing special. Always copying other film industry’s movies…old movies used to be very good ones but now it’s boring and laughable. But it doesn’t mean they can’t make good movies, if they find good story lines, some talented actors, actress and good director+ producer then I think they can make good film.
