i will never understand why people who play smite ranked don’t seem to grasp the huge value wards have in this game. it’s not that hard to do along the way while you’re in lane/jg and could be the main reason you win or lose a lot of times. My friend struggles with it and it’s mind blowing how that is even an issue

I always try to make sure I buy at least 1 ward when I leave base, unless I have both my wards placed already. If I'm in a lane that I want my jungle to gank I'll even buy a sentry and deward the path from Jungle so they can walk undetected. I never see anyone else do this, not even Masters/GM players. It has legit won me so many games because I'll avoid like 5 ganks thanks to my random ward I placed on harpies or enemy green or something.

@@DreadDoom that’s what I’m saying like even in high ranks I see people not place wards and I’m like bro come on the value of wards are insanely important it not only saves you from unexpected ganks but can get you kills plus wins more often than not. And people’s argument to this is “I could use that ward money to buy other things.” Like yea you could also use that kill money/xp even more plus you could maybe idk die less from ganks which outweighs the “ward price”. Not only that it’s so beneficial to get cheesy kills from someone backing with no health on a ward and someone with a universal ult like Janus just gets a free kill from that I’ve done it so many times lmao. It’s not a big deal like every makes it out to be to just buy wards, Knowing the enemy’s position and direction isn’t valuable to people I guess smfh.
