The 2016 version of Cabin Fever is actually an exact identical remake of the 2002 version. Both written by Eli Roth. I saw both versions and I truly believe it was the difference in actors that made it less successful. Funny to say I've also already seen 3 of the 6 movies you listed 😂🤣.

I believe the difference in directors and actors is what made all the difference between the movies being good or bad. I thought the first version was great!

Hey Sam, I have two movie/documentary/found footage suggestions for you,. I don’t know if they are badly rate or ok rated or so. The first is called Hell House LLC, this is a about a group of people who make haunted attraction houses for Halloween. They rented or bought a motel which was abandoned because of something and they turned it into an attraction. Bad things happen before Halloween (involves a clown) but they brush it off and continue. Then that’s when the incident happens..... The second movie is called Butterfly Kisses. This is about two teenagers (who went missing after) are filming for a school contest thing. They decide to do a myth called blinking Tom, you have to look down a tunnel at 12am and stare without blinking until 1am. After you successfully do this Tom will come after you. Every time you blink he comes closer.. and closer... and closer, on your last blink he kills you. They do it with the camera as they can’t do it themselves and then lens is like an eye but what they don’t realise is when they turn the camera off it’s like blinking. The guy who found the footage is trying to tell people is real but no one believes him. Near the end of the movie he decides to try for himself and his friends try to stop him but something happens.... I don’t know if you will see this comment but if you do and you do decide to watch these, have fun because I watched these two on the same night with my friends and we didn’t want to blink and we didn’t want to sleep because we knew they were true..... so have fun 🙂💕
