Dani, I set the table every day -- even if I am by myself. However, when I have company, I really go all out. This was one of the things that made my husband notice me -- my table and my library. He told me years later, "I thought you could not be real!" 🤣🤣🤣

Mine is also green. I use it for lettuce. The grill on the bottom was to keep the lettuce from sitting in any water.

The first item you picked up...That looked like a little porcupine is made out cotton husks...(cotton husks) is the shell that Cotton grows within before picking... Enjoy San Diego 🎷 if you get a chance ..have breakfast or lunch at "Hob Nob Hill" in Hillcrest! 💕 Love San Diego 🎷

That blue and white dinnerware is absolutely gorgeous. I inherited a lovely blue and white patterned with lace pattern on the edges. I don't remember the name but it's real china. So gorgeous.

Tupper Wear is a celery holder, wash celery and set on grid and it drains and can be placed on grid pour water out and leave celery on grid

My husband is Chech. I just love the glass from there. Always beautiful. Just loved the honey bear. That soap dish looked antique. ( looked 1930s) will be watching recap. As always, just love shopping vicariously through you.

The Limoge hand painted vase looks like something my grandmother would have painted. I know how it was painted and how much work went into it. It three firings in a klin before a piece was done.

I love this particular video. If I'm ever in San Diego, I know exactly where I'm going to shop first. As for the seagulls, here in Chicago we get both pigeons AND seagulls thanks to our lovely Lake Michigan. Fastest way to get a flock of seagulls to notice you? Just hold a french fry up in the air when you see one. You'll hear a screech as he alerts his buddies, and soon you'll know how Tippi Hedren felt in that scene from Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS. Oh my god that soap dish that you picked up made in ker -win -ick pottery down here in Cornwall uk 🇬🇧 😳 I use to pack them many years ago when I was in a youth training scheme what they try to call an apprenticeship etc..in the factory unit there with other trainees.from there they went back to the pottery shop over in Newquay area to sent out or sold whereever they could ie Avon the cosmetic 💄 company etc my god you made my jaw fall open it really truly did, 😀 that was when I was 17/18 and it was my 49th Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 just recently one week ago infact so yeap "32 years ago"they had lots of different items for sale tea pots ,dinner sets, soap dishes I remember the 🍑 peaches one very well. We had to wrap them in pieces of bubble wrap then make the small boxes and then pop them in the box, and into the main boxes..and then onto Avon, etc or wherever oh my goodness 😅 😳 I'm stunned totally in shock over here now in liskeard , South east cornwall UK 🇬🇧 Loads of love and hugs from me Anne-Marie Rowlings & Pollyanna-Maivie My Little chihuahua, xx just like your grand furr baby she is on my photo here..xx

The Tupperware box is for celery but also sliced bread loaves. We had one of those when I was growing up. With the grid insert it's for celery, carrots, veggies.....if you take the grid insert out it can store bread.

rent one of those tiny trailers, or get a car top carrier, I traveled to 14 states when I wsz quilt shop hopping and brought5 all of my purchases back in the car top. they hold a lot an dyou can get them used.

Croscill is a mid-to higher range bathroom & related? home accessory brand. (Think matching trash cans, toothbrush holders, drinking glass, soap dish, tissue box holders, shower curtains and the like.) Bed Bath & Beyond sells them, or used to, and they are also sold at Macy's, and other "better" stores, I think. But I've never seen their goods at Walmart or Target,but I could have missed it or they wanted to cash-in on the lower end market and started selling cheaper stuff at the "discount" stores...that don't always seem so "discount" these days.😮 p.s. I get a bit wistful about all the vintage dish sets that never really live out their purpose anymore. No one's home to use it all. When you put that lid back on that old covered dish, the clacking sound reminded me of so many family or church gatherings and all wonderful smells of the warm and comforting food inside all those dishes. People would lift the lids to take a peek and get a sniff of something tasty and wonderful! 😊

I went to Value Village in Puyallup WA. and found 4(yes 4) Bluebirds of happiness. 3 large, one small. Then I also found 1 Red cardinal from the Same group of artists. They are signed on the bottom. They were marked at $3.99 for the large and $2.99 for the small. I had a 30% coupon along with $2 off when I spent $5. WooHoo!!! They iused to give you a Westinghouse container when you purchased a stove. I have a blue and yellow one. I have the large MCCoy and a few cereal bowls; use them daily.
