Warning. Never ever double tap the windshield for up or down adjustment of the windshield. It will strip the worm gear. Or the carrier. It's best to know how the windshield looks at its highest and lowest setting. Then hold the switch when operating the windshield. Never let it bottom out or reach top height and leave the switch on auto. There is a fix for this. An independent retailer of a metal unit. I stripped the gear / carrier on my 2021 Chieftain but using the auto adjust option on the switch. Never again. Ride safe. Ride often. Enjoy !! ( And a great video )
