I had mini dachsie Penny. She was with me 13 yrs 4 mo. My best friend. Ginger. She was a mama's girl and big comedian. Store lots extra food incase you don't already. Prepare for stormy weather. When I see you with 8 dachshunds first thing I think is food, water, teeth brushed, and safety. I've had multiples for yrs all rescues all hospice at home when they get old. 6 have taken their breath in my arms last 4 1/2 yrs. I'm heart broken. So thankful for time we had together. Good luck. I really loved your camping adventure! The weens had a blast clearly, running, swimming, jumping the creek, happy tails!
