The parenting matters she was neglected, if your mum left you with someone instead of growing up with your siblings mentally that sends so many msgs of abandonment. " You have the why me ?" That drives people to depression , self harm if answers, forgiveness , and affection are not given . Lack of mother's love drove DMX to drugs and even if he confessed Jesus that emptiness couldn't let him be free so unfortunately died under the influence. Clearly if she couldn't face her parents , the relationship was bad . Parents aren't always right Molestation goes down under parents roofs for years and the kids can't even tell their parents they end up on streets out of guilt that's it's their fault . African parents need to be a safe place for their kids to hear the good , the bad and ugly
