Of all my days I've never been robbed in town, no matter the area, my friends too. I don't know where people get this perception of lawlessness in down town. Every video people always act scared, we've even nicknamed it as Nairobary! We are so used to negative stereotypes in Africa that we've become accustomed to it and now even push it. Of all the places I've felt safe, the so called notorious downtown is where I've felt safest the most!
