I looove Yokohama kaidashi kikou, it's a relaxing post apocalyptic series about a robot girl that runs a cafe and the people she meets. It's an older series from the 90s and the art is crazy gorgeous. If you've read touring after that apocalypse, you can tell that mangaka took a lot of inspiration from it. Definitely check it out if it sounds interesting to ya!

I went to a bookstore with my Mom recently and it was the first time I have ever seen the light novels and danemi titles split up from the manga! Snowball Earth is SOOOOO good! Hope you enjoy it! I have been on the fence of picking up Victoria's Electric Coffin because while I did like the beginning/preview, I don't know if I want to commit to it even though its only three volumes. LOL!

When the Novels are not split I find myself going oooohhhh this looks cool to some cover and then its a word book lolol. Snowball was a fun volume one I am looking forward to some world building and seeing some more scifi stuff. Hey sometimes even 3 volumes can seem like a commitment haha If you liked the first part enough it may be worth picking up!

Correct that is small potatoes for sure. I buy a lot of used and order from amazon LOL so I know what a real beat/destroyed manga looks like. But at the end of the day no matter what you buy or how cheap it is you want your stuff in mint condition unless you are buying it for ware etc. If it was just a scuff or scratch I would not care but 2nd or 3rd page down there was ripped and the plastic film that protects the front was ripped up. So easy free switch ezpz
