I think the reason that some people might not like George janko's content, in regards to what you said that he is working on himself currently, and how you mentioned that people want the tidied up version, is because it causes them to see themselves in him. When you see a man who is working on getting better, vulnerable about his sin, and so emphatic about his faith, it makes you know that you need to do the same. It calls you out in a way because he leads by example. It's incredible to witness

That was literally the same thing that pulled me in to his content honestly! That said I'm 42, have lived a lot more and not afraid to call out my short comings.. so I assume you are referring to a lot of his younger viewers from the impaulsive side and the likes . But I agree with you and it's sad because this should be a normal thing. People owning their life.. their mistakes.. their faults in general.. and even their strong suits without looking like a narcissist or an alpha male so to speak

I totally agree. I understand that yes, we as Christians should have grace because I know I sure didn't have it all figured out when I became Christian, however, George and his fiance are public figures. They're INFLUENCERS and when George tries to give an excuse for not having married his fiance already, he is influencing many young Christian couples to be intimate before marriage and it always reminds me of a non Christian saying...ohh, I don't need no paper to say I'm in a committed relationship. It's excuses to live in sin. I appreciate George and his fiance receiving the advice in such a humble way. God is working in them and I love that his Christian walk is being seen by millions. I love that they are seeing his transformation in real time.

I couldn't agree more. This is something they know they should correct yet still do not. The weed doesn't bother me, each to their own, but to say oh we're pretty much married so what's the difference!? When they do stand up in front of everyone they love, and declare their union and commitment to each other, and watch the 2 families join together, and begin to walk as man and wife, then they'll know the error of their ways. And I'm speaking from my own experience here, not judging, advising.

They fully admitted that what they’re doing is wrong but they also admitted how new they are and Rome wasn’t built over night. The fact that they are now even at the point of conviction is prayer that was answered.

So George and his fiance are real exactly like I thought, that great news to hear! I would agree that Christians online should not only be who they are offline but to live out God's work in their lives. For me personally I've been so broken that I see what Paul was saying 100%! I rejoice in my suffering! Well. But I'm conflicted now. Bignik made a post recently that if you are newborn in chirst, struggling with sin should not be a thing. For sure, we are called to be saints in Chirst, not perfect, but our faith should mature. Is sanctification a process then?

The only issue with this is that many Christians sin in public and desire to be corrected in private. Silent transformation is amazing, but it does leave a gap where since there was no public correction the endorsement of the sin remains. If you endorse sin publicly don't be surprised when people demand you denounce it publicly. I do agree that gentleness and grace are a must, but I haven't seen Christians digging through lives to expose sin. I have seen Christians attacking sin that's being put on display... There is a reason that the Bible say "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness".
