I’ve lived in South Korea for a couple years and it still irritates me when people ask me “Oh,did you go to North or South Korea?” like??? i can’t even imagine how south koreans feel about this when even me,a foreigner feels annoyed lol it always amazes me how little some people educate themselves on the world like how can i go to a language school + work / teach English in North Korea? i also feel like most people aren’t ignorant but they react that way for mocking purposes which is so off putting imo.
