Nice trip that, although I am not a fan of a bus ride generally. York's lovely isn't it, and the North Yourshire Moors looked spectacular. Looking forward to you eating in about 6 chip shops in less than 48 hours now ha ha!

I’m not vegan but I am a veggie, the main reason for me is that I enjoy the taste of meat and always have done but because of a few experiences such as seeing the lambs going off to slaughter, seeing some videos online I just can’t bring myself to eat meat anymore. I still crave meat and the meat substitutes help with that. Hope that makes sense

Deano buddy you are really coming into your groove. I’ll explain. Firstly I’m not going to comment on the fires, vegan food, prices of transportation (although very interesting) This is all about YOU your personality your simple honest down to earth approach and video content. I’ve said this to you a long time ago that you were going to “take off” and you were so excited by what I said. It’s beginning to happen Deano but it’s only the beginning. Keep grinding on and your rewards are waiting. You deserve it. 👍

Deano you need to come to Beverley here in the East riding of Yorkshire and catch the East Yorkshire motor services bus service bus service 121 to Bridlington you would really love that route plenty of romantic views and plenty of places to go and get something to eat and drink but really your doing the very best bus journey in the world to Whitby l would say to go down on the promenade to the pubs on the front of the promenade with sea views

Great video Deano. As someone who's lived in East/North Yorkshire all my life I can tell you it wasn't a forest or wild fire. It was a controlled burn. They do them regularly on the North Yorks Moors to create dead zones. That way, if there's a genuine fire, the dead zones stop it spreading over the entire moor. I'm hoping you went to Trenchers for fish and chips. Easily my pick for the best in Whitby.

Hello there, I do recommend you catching the same bus from Leeds and get off the bus at Pickering, walk up the road to Pickering railway station for a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, it is an eighteen mile long preserved, heritage railway. The railway runs from Pickering to Grosmont calling at Lewisham and Goathland. Also the railway has featured in both the ITV Sunday evening drama series 'Heartbeat' set in the 1960s and Harry Potter films/movies. Best wishes and take care. Kind regards, Peter Skuce, St Albans. Hertfordshire.

Loving the video. Will be riding this bus in September from York to Whitby. (from Texas). One added feature I would enjoy is seeing the bus stops in York. But I can see that on street view. As for the price, even paying a bit more is fine for me so I don’t have to drive. We have no public transport in Texas so it is actually a part of my experience

Three main reasons vegetarian and vegan have sausage and burgers and the like is because 1) they are transferring from carnivore to vegetarian/vegan familiarity is helpful 2) in social events it makes it easier to blend in 3) just because they are vegetarian/vegan doesn't mean they don't miss certain foods that they were fed by their parents. For most it's a moral choice not to cause another creature pain and death just for your own sense gratification,eating is a sense gratification

@totalbamber7 ай бұрын
I'm not vegan but I'd say the reason they want the food to taste similar to sausage or bacon etc, is because they like that taste. Being vegan is about the ethics of not eating meat/dairy etc. Not about wanting a whole new flavour.

The reason why you want vegan meat or vegan tasting meat is so that I can have the great taste of meat but be kind to animals and the environment. There’s just two reasons for it existing. Plus the world will run out of meat soon to feed people so they have to find synthetic alternatives.

As a vegetarian I can say vegetarian bacon is a bit silly and tastes like cardboard. But in China and Japan they eat a lot of soya protein, wheat flours meat substitutes etc and they love their meat. It's just a different texture for vegetarians/vegans. Also meat sausage rolls are just the vegan kind with flour etc with a few chopped up waste meat products mixed in!!!
@rpbarnett1237 ай бұрын
No idea of bus route. No interest in or appreciation of some of the best countryside and places in the country. So what does he do? Watches that famous Yorkshire soap, East Enders. Not Bangers and Cash Heartbeat or Harry Potter. Not even Yorkshire Steam Railway which would have given some idea of how the moor fire started. So to the main event. A VEGAN sausage roll. What's controversial about putting a filling in pastry and cooking it. That's what you do with pork sausage meat. No difference. Its cold and foggy outside so with a piece of inspired film direction, he puts a hat on. On a climate controlled bus.
