We second guess ourselves wondering if the situation at hand is truly life or death so we don’t create an emergency run for nothing. Sometimes it’s super clear we need to call and it still feels unnatural calling for help bc of how we are conditioned not to call. It’s complicated, isn’t it? well he needs to spend less time stressing over if he should call and more on learning to describe what he sees better HUGE and GIGANTIC are not words that describe the fire he saw small maybe medium at a stretch instead of saying gigantic which sugests the entire alley is a blaze and its going to need 2 or 3 egines with BA gear and maybe a ariel ladder to put out as opposed to 2 guys and a fire extinguisher or the accesory hose

People must have called 911 for stupid reasons or they wouldn’t have drilled it into us not to call unless it’s a true life or death emergency. Maybe thinking twice or three times before calling is my personal quirk and has nothing to do with being conditioned not to call. Short answer to your question is: IDK 🤷🏾‍♀

What? where? how many injured? what types of injuries? we'll be there in 2-5 minutes end of call and they would be there in minutes often even volunteers who work as firefighters for free. they do everything regular paid firefighters do but free and while working their regular 9-5 job

Even though it looked like a small garbage fire, anyone inside should be warned. It looks abandoned but might not be.
