the monk was cursed by the ghost " Yoko " who was haunting the bath house and trying to kill the 3 sacrfices , 1 the missing girl in the news , 2 Maina , 3 Maina's sister. As you can see in the to do list by the monk was to make the 1st girl fall in love and be pregnant , then the monk killed her during child birth or sum.. he thought the child was gone until she already gave birth to a boy. the boy was the person inside the basement locked up. if you free the boy inside the basement , it will lead to the good ending . Saving maina's sister by setting the land lord and the monk on fire , And the whole bath house to. Saving Akimura erena by dragging her outside the bath house and letting her lay there. She said she saw a old woman coming to her. The woman was matsuna or matsuno ( i forgot her name ) she took her to a hospital and explained to the police everything when the doctor asked what happend. The police said " You weren't suppoused to be at the village . " This explained to her that the people there might not be real . maybe it was the ghost " Yoko " Who was pretending to be the people in the village. 2nd ending was the bad one. If you chose not to free the boy. The land lord and the monk made the sacrfices to The girls. this will result to Yoko tricking them both. Killing them both and using the blood of the females to become stronger and using it to go INTO reality to haunt the bath house and killing people. idk if this is true but ok!

When I played, I got the bad ending 😭 I didn't eve know a hatch existed, that was really cool. In the bad ending, you die from the monk and the landlord at the broiler room. You lived I think because you set the woman in the underground hatch free, I still don't know how that saved you, but hell yea dude gg. Anw, here's my theory: The guy that gave you the 5 yen coin (aka the wanted man) is the monk's son (he had w/ the first woman victim) that for some reason the monk refused to kill. I think he actually tried to help you in many instances: - First, he gave you the coin. In which you used to offer a prayer to get a part of the newspaper. Why would the monk, who is the perpetrator, give you a clue about his crimes by putting it in that box?; - In connection to him giving you the newspaper, the newspaper for some reason had a writing at the back. Now who the hell could've written that if not the monk's and the landlord's first victim's son? He wanted you to discover the hatch, perhaps. -I also think it was him that killed the monk and the landlord at the end. It was mentioned that the guy who killed the two was a man. This game is so damn good. It gave me goosebumps when she said she forgot about her sister, and when you said that maybe her sister didn't even exist. But idk abt that cuz she was used as an offering, she existed(?). Maybe due to the trauma, Erena might have forgotten. But what if. What if the second victim was actually a whole different person. And Erena never had a sister. Maybe she was tricked or some evil being altered her mind or sumth? But Maho (the girl who drove Erena to her sister's apartment) knew who Erena's sister was. Idk I'm going insane from this shit.
