I buy and sell hockey autographs . I collect rare goalie autographs anything pre nhl and as many hof I can get… I buy and sell and keep the profit on the side and then cash out on a 1000-2000 autograph so it’s def a big part of the hobby with our buying and selling I could afford the collection I have now

You have a great eye. Agree with your assessment on most of these cats. Although, Reilly Smith's seasons are like the 2021 Yankees, which is why he doesn't crack PP1. I prefer Alex Tuch's big-boy game on RW. But Tuch gets hurt I guess.

Why do you feel bad about making a profit? This hobby is about collecting and selling what isn't part of your PC. If he has a booth at a trade show, he knows full well what those cards could sell for. Good prices bring in more customers, it's called loss leader strategy.

I think a lot of online prices are a little inflated, anyway. Sellers want to offset Ebay and shipping fees, and one way to do it is to just charge more. When it comes to in-person, cash instantly in hand, people are generally willing to take a little less if it means moving product, plus they also save time from listing and shipping cards around.

If you made 600$ from like 3 cards I would say that’s maybe a bit hostile but when it’s over more than like 30 cards it’s not at all hostile. Takes skill to flip cards and make a profit consistently

If you send damaged card(s) to Upper Deck to be replaced, you can always just ask for that Luca Caputi as a replacement for your damaged card(s)... They have loads of his cards just lying around their warehouse.
