The best 6 Japanese players play ROB, Megaman, Pacman, Duck Hunt, Olimar, and Sonic, and somehow, make all of them look cool. The fact that Ken got people to root for a sonic during the wifi era (for the states anyways) is a testament to them.

I don't think that's a hot take. Each of the Underdogs kinda has their own niche to fill, with Z being high effort fast paced content, Hop being more layed back funny gameplay, and Poppt1 drawing more competitive players. If you sort by popular, his most popular videos are his tutorial videos and videos that teach you how to improve at the game. Sometimes, they do badly, but I feel that's often due to poor advertising or just bad luck more than anything (or say his bait and punish video, which failed likely due to its very slow paced nature and very unstructured format). It's good that each underdog can fill a certain niche, because it keeps their content more interesting.

Big fan of the breakdown videos. A glimpse into the mind of the Poppt1. Hearing the reasoning for different actions and what’s going on in your head while you’re playing is actually really helpful to someone trying to get better. The more I get into smash the more I’m realizing it’s a mind game more than anything and you’ve got the mind game down pat.

its interesting. despite being called a boring character, it think Lucina is incredibly fun to watch IF the player is analyzing the set. I think its because the fundamentals of the game can really shine through with the way the character works, and being able to see Poppt profit off of his game knowledge is actually really exciting. I think Lucina's playstyle actually makes these analysis videos a lot of fun to watch! Keep it up Poppt1!

I feel most of the audience won't know who he is, Smash players have a rep in the TFG community that they don't know Fighting Games outside of Smash, and clearly none of the Underdogs play TFGs, so he most likely won't know what Tekken even is despite being like... The third biggest fighting game in the world.

Good players have a good auto pilot to where they can focus more on the opponent then themselves. So they can pick up on their habits then change their gameplay to counter such as neutral getups into spot Dodges.

18:25 I think you could up-smash, but it would be a tight reaction window, and mega mans up special is hard to tell when it ends. I think Dolphin slash is probably the best option. Wouldn't kill but it would send him far off stage with enough time for you to edgeguard. But more importantly its your quickest/most guaranteed option

I really enjoyed this video, and while some people may not think Lucina is fun to watch personally i find her pretty satifying to watch, with the spacing and whatnot. And while it would be fun to see some other characters i don't think it's good to force yourself to play someone you don't want to. But yeah, hope you continue to make these types of videos, and that you don't feel pressured into switching off Lucina. Keep it up :)
