I can tell you why the series has regressed since UFC 3.......Geoff Harrower left the team. Even though I've never been a fan of the EA UFC games, Geoff actually listened to the community and interacted with us. He actually valued our feedback and made a concerted effort to improve the games. Remember how EA UFC 1-3 used to actually have hige improvements in the patches? They literally would implement new gameplay mechanics into the games months after they came out. He's one of the few devs on the team that seemed to give a shit about what people thought about the games. Ever since he left the games have gotten worse

one thing thats really bothered me lately is when the blood gets on a fighters chest. it looks like there's a giant gash across their chest. plus the cuts in general are way too extreme and common. its cool, but literally every fight there's a massive gash where it looks like a sword slashed them wide open.

Dude we really, really, really need them to add follow up shots back in. I hate the way the fights play out as the game is now. Tired of seeing fighters land a knockout blow and just walk off. That almost never happens in MMA! The ref usually has to jump in and tackle the victorious fighter off the defeated fighter. The refs don't really even play a role in this game!! And by refs I mean Herb Dean since they were too lazy to include any other refs.

UFC 5 problems i think are important Career mode: Career mode needs a major overhaul as it is literally no different from UFC 4, One thing that particularly concerns me is the fact that UFC licensed fighters will fight till the ages of 47 or 48 whilst you play your career, in actuality they would retire much sooner, Career mode is also very bland with the social media aspect being the exact same as UFC 4 they could definitely expand on it, instead of it being based around your fighter replying to others, Career mode also become very repetitive and basic once you achieve GOAT status, with cutscenes essentially being gone from the time of getting Champ Champ to the end, another thing id like to see is more control over your fighters career in terms of how long it lasts and what weight class you are in (E.G Let us move up and down at any point in the career) UFC 5 in General: fighter introductions and the general feel of the beginning of a fight is bland with only the fighters names being announced by bruce buffer and with the same reused voice lines the commentary feels absolutely shallow Another thing i find problematic is the missing fighters (ik they js announced 30 new fighters) most ranked fighters are absent from the game quite disappointingly, without these fighters those who wish to replicate certain UFC events cannot due to the lack of the necessary fighters The Physics system is another complaint i have, it lacks any sort of realism with KO’s being constant ragdoll animations and no Stiffening KO’s like real life, along with the lack of landing strikes after a KO which could be done in previous installations of the EA UFC Franchise, I will admit the movement and striking feels like a good improvement from UFC 4 however it still feels stiff and lacks fluidity I am genuinely passionate about this game and id love to see it thrive and i hope our Game Changers actually listen and take the players into consideration when actually changing the game

Completely re do every aspect of striking maybe. How are fade uppercuts a thing? You rarely ever see that. A fade 2/step back 2 is what should do damage. A planted 2-3 should rock a guy coming in throwing 4 wild hooks half gassed. Front kicks in the pocket should be non existent. There’s so many things that need to be changed striking wise for the people that actually train to enjoy the game.

Hilarious. I've supported these games for years. The devs are liars. It isn't an MMA game , it's basically a crappy kickboxing game, with a simple "grappling" system. Gamechangers are shills, get the advantage of early content and basically advertisement for their youtube.
