​​@@animestream8494 well, Scar's monster form's moveset was also a 1:1 copy of a boss in Elden Ring. They only added a few effects on top of it, but they look the same as well. I ain't trying to defend NTE, but a lot of games copy each other's assets cuz it saves a lot of time and resources instead of making one from the ground up. Same with literally every gacha game's UI and gacha system. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it's good, why change it.

​@@tornadoofterror1481 no gacha game is completely original, it's just that each game's fandom thinks their game is to an extent, look at Hoyo fans thinking that anything else they see from other gacha games are copied from Hoyo games when Genshin itself is a BoTW clone which for me puts them at T0 at the most stupid gacha game fandom tier list. ToF fans aren't exempted with this one as well when ToF itself "stole" and used assets from Honkai Impact then ToF fans thought they had an all original game. Although WuWa fans that think some things originated from WuWa are dumb as well but can't blame them, if they don't see that in Genshin they'd think WuWa did it first, ToF just flopped way too hard and didn't become big enough for people to know much about and what the game had therefore most people never got introduced to features that ToF had, so when they saw it in WuWa they instantly go it came from WuWa.

8:57 I'm glad the Wuthering Waves mechanic of intro skills is in this game. I thought it was a neat addition and kind of akin to old fighting games where in 2v2 matches, you tag in your partner and do a special move. It just helps with variety in these games

Don't you just love how all these folks who clearly never gave ToF a real chance are doomposting NTE because of it. I honestly wonder if any of them actually played the dang game. I have, and after experiencing all the many QoL that make leveling characters a breeze, an auto-run feature for using stamina, extremely freeing exploration mechanics, what amounts to an in-game interactive map that makes farming resources almost too easy, a generous gacha system, AND vibrant, extremely detailed settings... I'm even more hyped for NTE. Trying exploring Mirroria in ToF. I guarantee it'll make you hyped for NTE. (sorry for the rant)

If Project Mugen were to be actually released, I would choose Mugen bcs this is 2024 and all these average combat animation, generic character designs and mid combat system from NTE arent even on par with existing games (Wuwa, Genshin, ZZZ, PGR). Those flashes of saturated neon colours are not for some eyes though. It can cause motion sickness or worst seizure for some people. It's the same palette as that banned episode from pokemon with the porygons.

I just hope, they really add some GTA stuff into the game. It would REALLY help the longevity of the game. GTA lived 99% because you can go on a random rampage. I understand, that the devs might not go that route due to age or other local restrictions, but it would be really good the casual side of the playerbase. I dont know about the driving, but the handling of the cars look a bit stiff. Like they drive on Glue. They should also add some more variety in car designs. They could go really crazy, because it has urban fantasy themes and design cars with all sorts of shapes and colors. Also Housing is only really good, if you can personalize it and if you can do something there (mini-game etc.) Good example for instance is the Radiant Feldspar in Star Rail: You go there because of the divergent universe and you can personalize the paintings and objects shown depending on your progress in DU. I would have liked to see more personalization, but at the moment thats the extend i am content with with a mobile gacha game. (and yes we technically own that ship) For instance, if NTE has an endgame similar to Genshin or Star Rail a really neat thing would be a trophy stand, that updates and is personalized with your progress in those modes or other achievements. (100 day or 1 year log-in-trophy for instance) Combat has to hit only one mark: It has to feel good moment to moment. It doesnt have to be very deep or complex, it should be good enough, so you want to go into combat situations yourself and not have to say "not another one" if you go into combat.

Man, for just a recording of the monitor this looks great & resulted in a great video. The visual style in those combat areas doesn't really work for me. Combat also looks a bit off, not sure why. But I like the UI, I like the sandbox city element & those scene transitions mid gameplay also seem great if they're fluid.

This is my #1 hype right now. My bigest hopes right now is that the world isnt just beautiful, I hope it has a lot of cool random interactions that influence the world around you so that the world doesnt just feel empty. Im actually hoping they also add a parry system. After playing ghost of tsushima I love doing parry stuff. Also really hoping for a lot of freedom when it comes to the sandbox aspect of the game, like being able to own a store to earn money/other items, being able to steel to earn money/other items, etc. And that it doesn't force you to do all of the sandbox options. But yeah this is definitely my number 1 hype.

Thank goodness they followed WuWa's footsteps when it comes to combat, I always felt WuWa's combat is the best out there right now and is the standard where other upcoming action games should follow, no reliance on reactions, more skill based, easy enough to grasp but no so braindead that it becomes boring. Now if they can somehow add or adjust certain things that would greatly differentiate their combat style further from WuWa then I'd play those two games as my 1.A and 1.B gacha games. And lastly more than anything else I'd probably love NTE more on the aspect that at least in this game I could own multiple luxurious properties in the city while driving a Porsche a nice way to escape reality that I'm poor lmao

I still play tof but I tell people not to get so excited about this game tof it still has delays after 2 years and I have a very good PC now as a personal opinion I think that wuwa has set the bar very high in game quality its characters They look very good and with NTE only 2 seem attractive to me, which is Mint and Nanami. They should also fix the movement and expressions of the characters. They are very robotic. It is the same problem that Tof has. I hope the game succeeds but I find it very difficult.

ZZZ is very active with mobs attacking actually. Especially if you enable more difficulty modifyers which makes them more aggresive and powerful. My biggest problem is that NTE looks exactly like Genshin in terms of gameplay. Mobs don't move or attack and you just spam skill and ult. The flare here is the intro skill and that's it. Looks vibrant and cool but it's the gameplay that keeps you.

Sigh. As long as these games are continued to be made with mobile in mind, I don't think I'll go back to an action gacha. Imo they should evolve the combat in these games, but to make it still playable/enjoyable on mobile devices, have extra gameplay loops that don't revolve around combat - base building, collectathons, fishing/trade skills, exploration etc Or just do an auto-combat feature for farming dailies etc - don't think I've seen that in a 3d action game yet.
