Hey guys, in this video I take a trip to Nigeria for the first time and find myself within the culture of Victoria Island. It was super interesting seeing the similarities and differences that this place has to Ghana, as this is my first time in another African country other than Ghana! Shoutout to Hayford and Bailey I'll be dropping their channels in the description below, thanks for watching!

@gettingaroundwithbaileybrown Ghanaians will hate you for this comment. To them, it is betrayal to say you like anything Nigeria. Say good things about Nigeria to Ghanaians, and watch them negative reactions, as they start feeding you with all types of horrible things about Nigeria. Ghanaians want to control you, who you should like, where you can go. You can not fully express your truth without them feeling you are betraying them. Why is this mindset?

50 and 100 dollar bills command the highest exchange rates and preferably 2013 and newer series (print year, you can get away with 2009 in some markets further north), 5,10s, 20s are an automatic 100-300 naira 'haircut' on whatever the exchange rate is depending on which part of the country. At that point you are better wiring the cash from your account to an account they provide (that is an entirely different discussion) because usually the amounts you want to convert needs to be over 1K USD at minimum.

I am Nigerian but neither Nigeria nor Ghana has the best jollof. That crown goes to Senegal as the name implies. Sadly you guys can't afford generators now you no longer have constant power, thats why all Ghanaians are crying. So sorry about that.. With our generators we are still the biggest economy in Africa. Isn't that wonderful?
