10:40 :牛车水: during the 19th century, in Singapore's Chinatown, people used Ox(buffalo)-pulled/bullock water cart to deliver water to the population (牛车运水情景).
Belgium beer is good, used to drink all Hoeegarden laid out bottles, one at a time. 😅

Lol about 19% of Singaporeans are Christians and Christmas is celebrated as one of the important religious holidays here. And I guess it may surprise you but asparagus is commonly eaten in Singapore and can be found in almost any supermarket. It features in some Chinese dishes in restaurants here too. Never knew it was a "rare" veggie? I learnt some things from your video anyway (e.g. never knew about Belgian cuisine before this). Cheers!

Chinatown is called 牛車水 becos during the colonial era water was transported to the household using bull-lock carts.
Emmanuel Stroobant is a Belgium chef-owner of Michelin-starred (2 Stars) restaurant Saint Pierre in Singapore. You could have tried this restaurant instead.
不明白为什么我们不能过Christmas? 这种地方是什么地方呀?we are Singapore 🇸🇬.

这是个玩笑而已。因为很热。所以不会和christmas联想到而已。没说你们不能过 😉

I find it odd that you would want to compare the original from your country to the ones that are outside your country. Even KFC and Mcdonalds taste different in every country. Maybe you could do a video comparing Chinese food in Singapore with say, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong or even Malaysia or Indonesia. Because food in a different country usually has its local flavour. Example like chicken rice, which is one of the most popular dishes in Asia and South East Asia. This is just my opinion.
