Jasmine Terri Artist they have to at MAC! They’re all about hygiene. The store in my city doesn’t even have applicators in their glosses so that no one just puts it on, they must give you a lip wand.

Ehhhh raccoon eyes aren’t really “goth” per se, it kinda learns towards the emo/scene crowd. Traditional goths usually go for more of a “drag” eye, like siouxsie Sioux

I not only grew up trying to be a 20s scene girl, but I got call goth all the time for it.(cause of the eye makeup) I sadly tried correcting people over it all the time. I took it to the point to write a paper over the gothic culture back in school and subcultures of it..... but I love it all none less.

@@annad8823 Me too! I also hated when ppl called me EMO,or goth, when I was a scene kid (but I also concidered myself goth & lolita,as I never discarted any of my styles...I'd feel restricted!) I see most ppl today & the kids that came after my generation (2007-2010) thought emo & scene were the same thing...😑🤗 Emo was always an attitude before style(but scene was more mature in style), which is why ppl thought u had to do selfharm to be emo. (I remember a lot of emo kids started to self-harm bc it was a part of the image,(sadly my sister was a part of that) I always found it immature, but it says so much abt how teens seek validation & how stereotypes are embedded in our minds, a social commentary, scary!)

It depends on their age, I prolly wouldn't go heavy if they're under 16 (tho I did!)...& maybe avoid the darkest shades of black if they're very pale & or deep under eye bags (which were my insecurities & black didn't make it better...back then I didn't have concealer or good brushes to smoke it). 🤭

as goth if i can help i would say that make up is really good . but i hear Judy talk about editorial make up , and i just realize that : to be goth is probably (for me at least) something to do with editorial make up , in this everything is important , the clothes , the hair , all should match to offer a kind of picture . in this way this make up is far enough goth . i would just made darker hair/eyebrows (or white can be really good too=D ) about colors i consider a simple rule : a sea of black always make every single touch of color more intense . i like to dress all black with some UV green details , and most of people are like : -oh you dressed all green today ! -nop , all black but that make the green touchs explosive =D . i personally would think about some dark/electric blue to make her natural brown eyes more deep maybe , but his brown job is amazing too . to summarize i considere goth as : 1- create an editorial look with darkness as foundation 2-wear it in street as everyday make up/style ( less or more according to days and moods ) because f... o.. what people can think about and let your creativity out .

I love it! He did really well. 😍 Also, Judy, about your hair.. I feel for you girl. I had a bad experience at a salon once, it was the first time I dyed my hair. The hair colourist asked me if I had any hair dye or special hair treatment done to my hair, and I told her no. She started bleaching my hair and then while she was still working on it she started checking how it's going, and I guess it wasn't going as she expected, and she said "you lied to me, didn't you?" and insisted that I was lying about my hair being virgin. I didn't lie to her about anything, but she wouldn't believe me. My sister took me to change my hair, because my mum had died recently and I was depressed. I was a mess. I started sobbing in the salon. My experience wasn't as traumatic as yours was, but I swear, even now ten years later I still feel so terrified and unbelievably anxious every time I go to a hair salon.

I really liked this look on you 😍 the eye look was a great all around look, and whole thing actually looked beautiful on you. I’m surprised how much you suited that black lipstick- but I have always though you look best with deeper more unusual lip shades- the barbie pinks and typical lip colours used on you don’t normally work well at all. I think you’re the very rare pale skin tone shade and face type that could really pull off intense and unusual lip colours like purple and deep berry. Mostly I think these look better on darker skinned girls, but you have they type of features that really work with less common styles of make up I think. Loved this video, and Lucas seemed really nice 👍
