I went to the doctor in Japan! (With NO insurance?!)

I recently had to go to the doctor here in Japan and was blown away by my experience. Here I talk about 2 different times I went to the doctor and how it went. Also... what it COST me!

Im emotional hearing your experience with the medical system in Japan. Not just the money aspect but the support they gave you. In the US I got passed around so much when I was pregnant. So many doctors I couldn’t even form a bond with them. I felt so exposed and like a burden. A 12 hour wait in ER with a kidney stone at 6 months pregnant just to be told they don’t see anything in my scans and send me home. I didn’t even get a bed, I sat in a chair 😭 I threw up from the pain!
