The title should read "I INTENDED to go to THE IVY RESTAURANT IN Leeds......". Excellent breakfast value at the Yorkshire Wrap Company, and the owner is a great interview. Now had you actually ate at The Ivy, the breakfast special would be the way to go. What % service charge is applied at The Ivy? I'd estimate the total to be just under $25. I would be frequenting The Yorkshire Wrap Company if it was an easy commute. Plus, the owner's daughter has got some serious pastry chef skills!

If I had a trip to NYC again I'd deff do premium Eco, We were going to originally do BA's version back in 2022, but Covid hit us and we had to cancel, by 23 the offers had expired and so we did EDI direct to NYC with Delta Cattle Class, fair enough, the trip was my daughters gift, but I wasn't terribly impressed by Delta. I'll be interested to see how it goes, have a good one! At least the temp/humidity in NYC will be bearable.

Good video and loved the Yorkshire wrap and the brownie. Re you London trip I grew up in London and worked there till I retired. You will be perfectly safe but dont wear any expensive jewelry or watches and make sure you and your girlfriend wear a stab proof vest just in case. All the best.

Im amazed the bargains to be had in the UK (even with a stronger pound than dollar). We in the USA are being fleeced regularly with $20 breakfasts $40 lunches and $60 dinners not including tax and tip.

Went to The Ivy in Brum about a month ago. All Frills and No Draws is how my wife would put it. Not a patch on the one in Glasgow. But its like any other Chain style food place. There are some that are good and some which are not so good or even terrible. Its a bad thing thing when you go for a meal. Then you sum it up with the Old Fashion Cocktail was ok.

Service Charge: I’ve paid a service charge once when it took me by surprise, I’ve made sure it’s never happened again. I always get it removed from my bill. Sometimes I can feel a bit embarrassed but screw them, I will not be pressured into paying their additional tax. If I want to tip a server, it’s my choice.

One to try Lee whilst in London i personally loved the food and the view was amazing is the tate gallery on the banks of the thames. I also tried one of your mates DJ'S REVIEWS the golden union on Poland Street just off Oxford street the fish and chips were fantastic although for three people around £90.00 and £3.50 for a can of coke.
