Wait, wtf? You were staying the hotel near where I work. Daaaamn! Hope you enjoyed your stay in the PH Scarra. Also you can definitely travel cheap in the Philippines tons of ways to go about that. The places you stayed are really those high end stuff, nice but best if in your next visit you try to explore home-cooked meals rather than the price restaurant food. Usually in the Philippines restaurants and hotels put a twist in their food, it doesn't taste authentic. Try Cebu's lechon next time, they are a lot bigger and 100x better, try Halo-halo, try adobo in a carinderia. Most meals in a carinderia are like waaaay more cheap than restaurant served food.

Scarraaa you definitely have to visit again, and I agree that you got the curated tour of the Philippines as it’s definitely one of the most toured spots, so not bad for your first trip here! Next time try to go to Binondo there’s a lot of great food there although it’s not really a Filipino centralized location as it’s like our little china town, and definitely go to intramuros! Maybe even visit Baguio! Lot of street foods and bazaars at night there you’ll enjoy the crowd though maybe not so much during our peak seasons but it’s cold up there and tons of parks and amazing tourist destinations as well hope you guys come back here! ❤
