I WENT TO THE WORST RATED MAKEUP ARTIST *GONE RIGHT*

I went to the worst rated makeup artist in my city, in London - GONE RIGHT edition.
Don't get me wrong there were a few hiccups but I actually was in love with how the look turned out at the end!

I was actually so happy when she asked about allergies. A lot of these worst rated MUAS just do whatever ever without asking important questions. Im allergic to glitter and would appreciate being asked before hand.

Why is the MUA not getting the money?! Especially doing it free-lance? I have the feeling something is off about these people and their business/house situation. And is it not weird that a freelance make-up artist has a manager, and one that lives in the same house...I feel like she kept popping in cause she didn't want the MUA to say something to you or for you two to really be alone for a long amount of time...

She actually did a great job on the eye shadow. Its symmetrical and I'm pretty impressed with it. The foundation color was totally off. Not sure how it oxidized backwards lol but worked out well for you in the long run. Im kinda shocked how she pulled it together. Manager was kinda sus lmao but loved this video!

I’d imagine the concealer helped. That along with us forgetting how fair she actually is because she took it down her neck, so we can’t see a comparison. Let’s just hope her body is tan or she’s wearing sleeves!

It's actually not symmetrical. Was driving me nuts. Left eye corner left white/silver. Right lower eye totally filled in with blue. Should be so obvious to a mua...then again, so should the correct foundation color so...🤦‍♀️ The manager needs to be fired!!! Asking for $$ before she's even done, horrible.

im not seeing the rudeness she literally said if she didnt like anything to let them know and that she would check in to see if everything was going ok. that doesnt at all seem rude. id be mad if the manager didnt give a shit at least this one made it clear that its ok to say you dont like something. you know what i mean. no hate just calling it as i see it

I M an MUA and I can tell you nothing she did was right. Hygiene was terrible..just everything she did was wrong . I dont think some of the supposed make up artists (and I use the term loosely) even have a liscence. I dont know how the laws are in the UK but in America you have to go to school and get a liscence.. No gloves were used , and if not using gloves I saw no sanitizing going on. Your never supposed to use a pencil that you know has been used on other people. Thats why your told never share your makeup , ever .. if you can't afford to buy new pencils, liners that includes lip liners then go buy a pot liner.. this way your using washed or new brushes. Other than that I love your channel and watching these horrible so called MUA's

License* you’re* Eye & Lip liners can be used but they need to be re sharpened for hygiene reasons. You don’t need to buy a new lip or eyeliner for every client. Same with lipstick, the top should be cut off. Also you don’t need to use gloves if you use good hygiene.

I'm sorry, but I live in the US and have been a MUA for over 30 years and I've worked at some of the most prestigious make up counters out there (Chanel & Shiseido) just to name two, and I never went to cosmetology school for one single day...

You only have to licensed to work in a Salon. If you’re independent and/or you’re a contractor, you don’t need one.

Im sorry but it really annoys me when videos like this show the mua pictures of photoshoped images that aren't realistic....I dknt know why u could pull her up on the foundation...thats ridiculous that shade...she should of bought the eyeshadow up more towards the end of ur eyebrows ...the way she did it there's no cat eye look and makes ur eyes look droopy.

It really bothers me how the eyeliner connects on one side but not the other! The artist seemed very nice and sweet but I think needs some practice. It was nice hearing more or your voice in this video, and you look lovely as ever!

Girlll idk what ppl are talking about saying she did a great job on the eye the eye primer should not be so light she had to start off with a ligh brown as base then go in with the pink and the pink still needed to be blended the eyeliner is a mess made her eyes look droopy and its not even a fine line the top liner needed to be thin towards the ended on both the inner and outer parts the blue could've been matte and could've used a hightlight on the inner corners and dont even get me started on the rest

And having an almost white base makes matte colours pop more than just a regular skin tone. Black can be used as a based to make shimmers pop more. Of course you don’t need to add those bases cos makeup has no boundaries. But it’s known in the makeup industry that white makes matte pop more. I also had a look at the photo on the internet and to me it didn’t look like it included illuminator on the inner corner. But I must agree with you that it would be nice to have that illuminated inner corner, it would have looked nice. I will say that she could have blended her edged a bit more and her face makeup techniques were not the best. But as a professional looking at someone do makeup without training, she really is not doing a bad job. When I first started studying I think I would have done a worse job if I’m being honest 🙈. This MUA is not educated in makeup, but one can see with time and practice she can become very good even if she continues to be self taught. So I would say she did a great job. And of course you are entitled to your own opinion and I will not take it away from you❤️ if you did not like it, it’s totally understandable.

The dark foundation on the inside of your eyes by your tear duct gives away your true skin tone. Wish she would have blended that a bit more inward towards your eyeshadow so there wasn’t those pale strips of skin. Otherwise it looks good

Is it weird that I like that she under-drew your lips here with the pink lipstick? I am normally not a fan of bubblegum pink as a lipstick, but here it looks very well. I love it as well it looks perfect on you and the more orangey foundation actually makes the eyes pop better… once it paid for a while it looked a lot better. It turned out very good, she needs to get rid of the “manager” though, it’s super sketchy that someone pretends they have a “manager” in their household. If she gets rid of her, she may have a future in her makeup hustle.

I totally hate the make up look she was going for. She needs to do some adult type looks like maybe a Smokey eye with neutral or acceptable colors for that look but this Barbie pink and blue is awful and totally immature for her she. That (Bratz/Barbie) look is actually really popular with people our age. I think it reflects a lot on the things we grew up with and saw, especially early 2000s. Bratz, Paris Hilton, Britney spears, Christina Aguilera, stuff like that. I think a regular smokey eye would make her look older than her age. I can see why older people don't get the trend but it's definitely a thing for younger ppl our age. I happen to really like it.
